Shipping cost is lower and there are several shipping options. If you are using this for manual shipping, the interface is cumbersome and not user friendly. There's no way to print a receipt with the shipping cost. It is intended to interface with an ecommerce platform to control the input. Is it worth the hassle for the reduced shipping, yes it is. They need a simple interface version for manual shipping.

Shipping is easy but shipstation connect never stays activated so imo, there are better priced options out there.

while overall ship station is really convenient. Customer service is hit and miss. the last person we spoke to did great since we were able to speak in person.The chat is a waste of time. Specific typical shipping question like how do I let UPS know we have a package? Cant be answered. The ability to reconcile each transaction to confirm receipt of refund has to be done on stamps separately. Being able to change the Main contact that prints when that person leaves isnt possible without starting all over again.

Meh. I fumble through.
I like its integration but overall it’s a bit complicated to use as a small business owner. And I consider myself to be pretty tech savvy.

International issues
Overall, Shipstation is a great tool. Unfortunately, there have been many issues shipping international packages. Paperwork that should be electronically filed is either not being filed or is not getting to where it needs to be. While shipping the international package, we input all the information needed, print off available paperwork and place it on the package. We receive a phone call from the shipping carriers customs department within 48 hrs asking for the paperwork so that the package can clear customs.

Only a few things I do not like:
Only a few things I do not like: 1) no easy way to connect shipstation with our inos webstore 2) Having to disconnect then reconnect ebay and bonanza stores to reset them 3) last week first time shipstation did not not mark ebay order as shipped

ShipStation seems geared for bigger…
ShipStation seems geared for bigger clients, or those who can afford to pay higher fees. As a startup, I still need inventory control and and confirmation of order templates that don't seem available at a basic, low-level price. I understand, as a business, you need to charge for those--they're just outside our budget until we get bigger. Maybe offer such things for an add on, smaller expense? ($5 or $10 a month I could do, but not much more.)

I would rate this company as "okay"
I would rate this company as "okay". The 9 bucks a month is appropriate for the quality. Its easier to use than some other companies but not as user friendly as usps. They are also not very helpful and wont actually talk to you unless you're paying for it.
