I Was Largely At Fault And Want To Try Again
I have been asked to update my review by the company Ship Overseas. It has been more than a year since my bad experience with them. During the past year, I have been in contact with other businesses involved in Costa Rica relocation, and have heard good solid things about Ship Overseas. I want to forgive my experience and try again in the near future to work with Ship Overseas. Also, importantly, I want to recognize my part of our misundersanding because I live in a very unusual location which simply did not work for Ship Overseas service model. I take ownership of this fundamental issue 100%. I live near Tahoe, CA at 7500' elevation, at the top of a ski resort, where we get 40'-60' of snow and ride snowmobiles to/from our homes during winter. Ship Overseas typical notice to have the client vehicle ready for pickup was within hours, whereas due to my location, I needed at least 24 hrs. notice. Next time I work with Ship Overseas, I plan to station my vehicle(s) with a friend who lives along their conventional pickup routes. This way I can respond to short notice. Ship Overseas, I am upgrading my rating to 3 Stars in anticipation of working with you again. If you will have me as a customer again(?), I promise to do my part to accomodate your service model. And I expect to upgrade to 5 stars on my next experience with you.
