I ordered and paid for the MSM30 30" sweeper with rake attachment. However, I didn't receive the rake. Notified the company via email, now I await a response. Okay, so they actually responded to my email on a Sunday, outside of their business hours. Hello L It was Christmas day yesterday and today is Sunday.  Our offices are obviously closed.  We will address your issue first thing Monday morning. If your order has the rake on it, we will get it right out to you.  Would you be so kind as to remove your review?  You have not given us a chance to even look into this and you contacted us on Christmas Day Thank you.  Shields Magnetics Inc Not actually an apology for the oversight but they did respond and shipped the rake out that week. I have not attached it yet but look forward to doing so and using it. I'm updating my review from 1 star to 3.5 stars due to the oversight which caused a delay and inconvenience.

Checkout experience could be more streamlined.

We use this for new home construction cleanup. The magnet's power is just about right for dragging things out of the dirt. The release mechanism is difficult to operate when you have loaded up the bottom with a bunch of metal. And, it's too early to tell but I'd be surprised if the weak point in the design is not the handle. That's a lot of flex down there at the connection to the sweep and one carriage bolt and a relatively small anchor brace just ain't gonna do it. They say to remove the handle every time you "store" it but that isn't practical for construction. Generally, we leave things assembled. But, on the whole, we like it.

i am pleased with the transaction, the only thing i would like to see change is in the confirmation i would like to know when the product is shipping. with an approx. delivery date.
