Sherwin-WilliamsReviews of sherwin-williams.com

As much as this paint cost it should be the best paint in the world I see it's only rated 3.5-3.7. If you have extra $ to throw away sure use it other than that it's way too expensive. I made the mistake of buying it because it was what the painter suggested. I had never used it before, but lesson learned find a cheaper paint thats still good quality.

Back when the 200 product was released as a new line of product I purchased multiple gallons of the product. With every application it became shiner. 12 years later an entire single family home, covered in siding, have to be repainted with flat to get the customer satisfied. What will this company do to make it rigjt by me? It's a loss to me. They're aware of this issue because I informed them of it on numerous occasions.

Thumbs down on this paint 👎 I read all the reviews on the Emerald urethane trim paint, and I specifically asked at the Sherwin-Williams store and assured that it was a great paint to paint my wardrobe and my cabinets. Both were darker colored wood. I painted my wardrobe first. I did the one coat of primer and two coats of paint like I was told and you could still see the wood in some spots. This was on the wardrobe doors so I had to do a third coat of paint. So for the rest of the wardrobe I put on two coats of primer and still had to put on two coats of paint. I sanded the piece really good first and sanded between every single coat. It has been painted since early May so I figured it was cured enough. I put the doors on and with all the adjusting I had to do the paint chipped anywhere the wood touched with the adjustments. Thankfully I had not done my kitchen cabinets and will not be using this paint. I think it is terrible paint for this purpose. Thumbs down👎

Sherwin Williams is a globalist owned paint company that’s main objectives is to overprice and screw over their long term customers. Behr paint has higher volume solids and is $20 less a gallon.

I’m writing this review in case someone is looking for employment at Sherwin-Williams. A few years back in 2009 and 2020 Sherwin-Williams nationwide canceled their contributions towards retirement. As they did reinstate it eventually, but in 2025 they did it again. It has been four months when no contribution from Sherwin-Williams, has been made nationwide again to any employees. Mind you this is billion dollar company in which my husband works. This is a terrible injustice to the hard-working employees across the nation for this company. So if you’re looking for a position with Sherwin, I would use caution because there has been no insight on when they will bring back their 401 contributions.

I had the pleasure of working with Hannah from the Monroe, NC team, and her support was nothing short of extraordinary. I was struggling with several technical and process-related issues, but Hannah stepped in with incredible patience and professionalism. What sets Hannah apart is her due diligence. She didn't just fix the immediate problems; she audited the entire situation to ensure everything was handled correctly from that point forward. Her 'above and beyond' approach saved me a significant amount of time and stress. If you are looking for a sales support professional who truly cares about the details and the client’s success, Hannah is the gold standard!
