When I began looking at taking the GRE, I already had several GRE prep books but needed a thorough, in-person refresher of math concepts for the quantitative section of the exam. Sherpa Prep's course taught the math concepts in an easy to understand format that allowed me to re-learn all the math concepts that would be tested. I was initially hoping to score slightly above the 50th percentile in quant and after taking the Sherpa Prep class and working through all the assignments and extra access materials, I ended up scoring in the 76th percentile. Even though I already felt confident in my verbal section and writing skills, the tips and tricks provided in the class helped me tack on an extra 4 points in verbal and obtain a 5.0 (92nd percentile) on analytical writing. The one down side of being a small company is that they are not quite as technologically advanced as major companies like Kaplan and I had several technical issues with their online practice problems, but this is easily made up for by all the extra free access you're given to other programs' practice problems and practice exams. The teachers also made themselves constantly available to you. I would definitely recommend this class if you need a solid math refresher before taking the GRE! The price also can't be beat by other in-class GRE courses in the DC area.

The whole team at Sherpa Prep is the real deal. They give you the tools to succeed and are supportive throughout the whole process. It was without a doubt the best experience I could have asked for.

I've taken two other GMAT prep courses with larger, household name companies. Sherpa Prep is by far the best and it's not even close. It starts with their mission. Their focus is not solely for an individual to improve their score by X amount of points. Rather, their mission and competitive advantage is to do everything in their power to make grad school applicants as competitive as possible. Additionally, the education they provide regarding the GMAT attacks the intimidating test on multiple fronts through concise content delivery, manageable study plans, insightful time management techniques and proper testing psychology.

Sherpa Prep is an all-of-the-above GMAT prep course that is unmatched in the instruction and support provided. The detailed schedule and intimate class setting are great to get a personalized experience and leave feeling like you have an understanding of the GMAT and a clear idea of what is needed beyond completion of the course to get your possible best score. Nafeez and the other instructors are incredible attentive and provide personalized advice and counseling. They care about outcomes for students and it shows.

Best customer experience I've ever had. I took the full course twice with two fantastic instructors (at no extra cost because they recognize that life gets in the way sometimes), and my GMAT score jumped from high 500s to low 600s studying on my own to reaching my target of mid 700s with their guidance. Can't speak highly enough about their approach, knowledge, and experience for all things MBA related.
