I came completely worried about the application process. I didn’t know where to start or what to write about in my essays. I struggled to figure out how to stand out where it’s easy to blend in with other applicants for schools with low acceptance rates. I heard too many stories of applicants having to reapply or barely getting accepted into a school they are reluctant to attend. I was surprised at the timeliness of their responses and how they could help put together an effective game plan just based on an initial phone call, consultation session, and Google forms. Their structured plan and deadlines helped me to maintain my organization and helped me tackle the steps from what initially seemed to be a mountain to overcome. Knowing that I would get such great support on writing feedback, I was able to focus more on maximizing my experiences which I feel will be invaluable preparation for medical school.
