My transaction with Shell Lumber & Hardware was easy and worked out great. I did not purchase any lumber. I ordered some items for installation of my wood-burning stove that apparently were shipped via Fedex. My largest item was a Selkirk DSP6MA masonry adapter that was actually shipped separately from the other items. Shipping was very fast where both packages arrived the same day. I am aware of negative reviews that I estimate are likely unjustified. I also suspect that any negative reviews by others involving claims of damaged items were likely not due to mishandling on the part of Shell. I am very willing to order from Shell again. And, if I had a concern about mishandling of my items that might occur then I would contact and request Shell increase my shipping cost by going with a different carrier solely for my order. As it turns out, I see no reason to have such concern at this time.

Placed an online order with them and received the order in a timely manner even though there was an issue with my billing address as I have recently moved. They reached out to me and the issue was resolved. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.
