Great customer service and friendly, efficient movers!!

This is a difficult review to write. We hired Shamrock Moving & Storage in September 2020 to move our entire Los Altos Hills home to storage while we completed a new house. And we were very happy with Jose, and his original moving team. Very professional. Unfortunately, when we received the items in February we discovered so much damage. Broken furniture, broken dishes, damaged artwork, and many missing items. In fact we had 3 items pulled from storage to give to a family member in January, and all 3 items (a couch and two chairs and ottomans, were destroyed and ripped up and left on loading dock! We had to throw them away.) When we complained we got "write up a claim" -- no "we're sorry" and when we asked them why they did not take a picture. Again, "sorry..." Our belongings were expensive items. So you can imagine how disappointed we were. When we contacted the office we were told to file a claim and submit for consideration. Basically, "we will do nothing". We decided to accept the losses and move forward. Life is too short. I would be very careful about storing any items at Shamrock. And frankly the team that delivered the furniture from storage was not the "A" team. It is difficult to find great companies today. And what really sets companies apart is how they treat you when you have an issue. Shamrock did nothing.Very disappointing. BZ

This review is a month overdue, but I made sure to do it because everything about Shamrock - from the initial communication through completion of the move - was wonderful. I communicated with Helen early on and I felt comfortable and confident about our decision to go with Shamrock. There are a lot of meh, or even fraudulent moving companies out there, so feeling like I could trust them was important. And the team showed up RIGHT ON TIME. Also, once the team arrived (Victor, Alberto, Jose), they noted that we had more stuff than they were expecting, but they moved so quickly and so carefully - a very professional job. I hope we don't have to move again anytime soon, but when we do, Shamrock will be my go to 100%.

We hired Shamrock to move out of our office - part of the stuff went to a new location, most of the items - to their long-term/short-term storage. The whole process was smooth & professional. Literally no negative feedback I can think of.

This is my second time using Shamrock for a move, which should tell you everything you need to know. Most moving companies make moving a painful experience and you hate everyone involved by the end of the process, but Shamrock really is different. They seem to really understand what a stressful time it can be, and they go out of their way to make it as easy as possible. Their pricing is always fair and straightforward, their team is responsive, and if I have an issue (which is rare), they're quick to resolve it in a fair way. Every time I move, I swear it's the last time....but if I ever move again, Shamrock will be my first and only call.

The movers were really hustled and didn't let the rain slow them down. Their efficient packing of my storage space is a thing of beauty too. They got the moving job done incredibly great, including a stop on the way to drop off and pick stuff up. The move was completed in such a short time. I'm definitely calling them again. They made a stressful day much less stressful.

I had set up a move date for 4/30 and had the whole month of April to get ready for it. Unfortunately, I was far from ready when they arrived that morning. But they set to work without a complaint and moved me into my new apartment without any difficulty. What was moved to my new garage remained wrapped in Saran Wrap which will keep it safe. The team of 3 were all very good, but it was Manuel who continued to assure me "all was good". I hope I will never have to move in the middle of a pandemic again!! Thank you Shamrock Cleaners!!

We just had an incredibly positive experience with a move handled by Shamrock. From the beginning in talking to the office and having Bobby do a FaceTime virtual estimate because we are in a shelter in place order due to Covid-19 to speaking with Lisa about the agreement and logistics everything was smooth. But the best part was Victor and his awesome crew who packed us one day and moved us the next. They were great to work with very courteous, very careful, efficient, and friendly too. A move during Covid-19 was a frightening idea, but they wore masks and took precautions in the 2 days they were packing and moving us. Thank you Victor and crew!!!
