The Most Insane Experience From Hell
My mother opened an account prompted by a credit offer catalogue! Stuff is over priced but you know old folk…can’t tell them anything! She received three or four items, no problem! She decided to use the 800.00 credit balance she had for her little Christmas shopping! It’s harder for her to get out these days! She ordered 1 item for her sister, 1 for me, and four for her granddaughter in California…who is newly moved to an apartment…about 7-8 weeks new. I walk in to find my MOTHER CRYING ON THE PHONE! Turns out, she had spent 3 days trying to get someone who spoke sufficient ENGLISH to figure out WHY her Xmas gifts to her granddaughter wasn’t being shipped when she had plenty enough credit. For Two Hours…they fed her bs! Said her account was sent to collections, though never a late payment! Then they said fraud was reported to credit bureau, though NEVER HAPPENED! Everyone kept saying they had to get a supervisor then she’d get thrown right back into the queue! She had to start all over again and explain! That happened 3 times! She finally gets a very rude SUPERVISOR that says, “The address in Los Angeles, is flagged as a ‘fraudulent address’, (not the name) address and NOT ONLY WILL THEY NOT SHIP TO THAT ADDRESS, THEY ARE CLOSING HER ACCOUNT! What the hell? Why would they close HER ACCOUNT because of some activity that she knows nothing about, does not involve her OR her granddaughter who has not even been there beyond two months…AND TO CLOSE HER ACCOUNT AND TELL HER THERE IS NO RECOURSE!! So now she thinks they are accusing HER of fraud…and her grandchild, a sweetheart of a young lady who simply rented an apartment 6 blocks from Beverly Hills! How can my mom be held accountable and penalized for something by somebody we don’t even know❓❓❓ That is a terrible way to treat a customer and an elderly person! And the rudeness with which this supervisor spoke to her…because by that point I had her out the call on speaker phone so I could determine what had her crying like this! Seventh Avenue is awful to deal with and YET AGAIN ANOTHER COMPANY THAT WANTS OUT MONEY BUT CANT HIRE WORKERS THAT SPEAK AND COMPREHEND ENGLISH WORTH A DARN! DONT do business with this overpricing company! Save yourself!
