My experience with Servpro North Miami was extremely disappointing. What should have been a straightforward restoration of a one-bedroom condo turned into a two-year nightmare. Throughout the project, communication was consistently poor, deadlines were repeatedly missed, and getting updates required constant follow-up on my part. The workmanship was subpar, with issues that should have been caught and corrected the first time. The lack of professionalism and attention to detail was frustrating from start to finish. The project manager was ineffective, unresponsive, and seemed unable to keep the job on track. Management was no better, showing little accountability or concern for the delays and ongoing problems. Taking two years to complete ( still not completed at this time 06-26) a one-bedroom condo is unacceptable. Based on my experience, the company demonstrated poor communication, weak project oversight, and unsatisfactory workmanship. I would not recommend them.If I could give no stars i would have!!

Very disappointing experience overall. Communication was poor from the beginning, with calls and emails often going unanswered or taking far too long to receive a response. The project took longer than expected, and I frequently had to follow up just to get basic updates. I was also frustrated by the lack of transparency regarding costs. The final charges did not match my expectations, and getting clear explanations for the billing was difficult. For a company that handles stressful restoration situations, I expected much better customer service and professionalism. Unfortunately, the entire process added more stress instead of providing solutions. Based on my experience, I would not use this service again and cannot recommend it to others.

The work I had done was done in June 2025. I paid $150 upfront and the remaining $815 at conclusion. On May 26, 2026 I received a letter from a collection agency saying I did not pay them. I called the collection agency with my proof of payment on my American Express card and was told by Angela that it would be removed from my credit report because I have excellent credit. The workers that worked did a great job. Evidently their accounting Department doesn’t know what they’re doing. And to wait a whole year before contacting me never sending me anything in the mail that said I owe them money pretty pitiful. This was the location in Salem Virginia that I used.

AVOID! In my opinion they are grossly overpriced and perform sub par work. They performed cleanup after a burst pipe and it felt like they did everything possible to expand the scope of the work as soon as they discovered it was an insurance claim. Then the work performed itself was not of the highest quality and they even put a hole in a wall outside of the work area. The ServPro bill was nearly 3 times the cost of the repair. To top it off, they pushed their own in house contractor for the repair but when asked for an estimate to do the work, they would only provide the estimate for a fee equal to a percentage of the price. If you ever encounter a contractor who refuses to give a free estimate, RUN! It is likely that contractor is going screw you over. I should never have used ServPro and only regret doing so now. Save yourself the headache and find a better company to do business with.

THE TRAILER IS BLOCKING THE SUNLIGHT TO MY HOUSE. THE DATE IS BEFORE APRIL 2025. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO INSTALL THE SOLAR PANELS. ALL MY PLANTS DIED. I HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH THE MANAGEMENT, LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES. NO RESPONSE. THIS IS ELDER ABUSE TO THE MAX. THEY DON'T GIVE A SHIT. THEY GIVE ME THE MIDDLE FINGER. I HAVE EVALUATION FOR SOLAR PANELS. THE COMPANY CAME TO THE HOUSE. THE TRAILER WAS BLOCKING THE SUNLIGHT. THE TRAILER WAS REMOVED THIS MORNING. I'M LETTING THE MANAGEMENT KNOW THE TRAILER MUST NOT RETURN TO THIS SITE.

Here’s a more professional and polished version of your review while keeping the strong message clear: --- Servpro was a very disappointing experience. I strongly recommend considering a reliable local contractor instead, as they are more likely to provide better quality work and accountability. In my experience, Servpro tends to overpromise and underdeliver. They rely heavily on third-party vendors, often prioritizing cost over quality, which results in poor workmanship. The mitigation process was also frustrating. The team entered the home with dirty shoes and set up multiple fans and dehumidifiers, some of which were not functioning properly. Even after informing them multiple times, they failed to replace a non-working dehumidifier in the bathroom where the water damage occurred. After a week, they moved a unit from another room and continued running loud equipment in the bathroom for an additional four days, causing unnecessary inconvenience due to their lack of responsiveness. Billing was another major issue. The billing team was rude and unprofessional in their communication. After I explained that I had received checks from my insurance adjuster, I was told they would verify the details and inform me of the amount due. Instead, I received an email a few days later demanding immediate payment, which felt abrupt and disrespectful. Additionally, despite raising concerns during a walkthrough and being assured that issues would be addressed, I was later told by the finance team that all work had already been completed and payment was due. This lack of coordination and accountability was extremely frustrating. Today Servpro sent people to fix the issues. Their accounts team called me asking for around $5,500 payment. During our previous discussion, I was told I would need to pay around $3,550 initially, and even after including the depreciation amount from the adjuster, the total should be closer to around $4,000. I asked them to review the numbers with insurance adjustor because the amount they are requesting now does not make sense to me. Also, I am very disappointed with the quality of work and communication from Servpro. I had already shared pictures of the issues earlier, but it looks like the subcontractors were not properly informed about what needed to be fixed. They arrived without the proper tools and materials. For example, they used brown caulk in some areas while the rest of the caulking is white, which looks very bad and mismatched. Overall, the work quality and coordination have been very poor. Overall, my experience with Servpro was poor in terms of both service quality and customer interaction. I would strongly suggest working with a trusted contractor to ensure better results, lower costs, and a more professional experience. They advertise a 4.8-star rating, which is misleading. However, I found ratings below 1.5 on platforms like Triplet, BBB, and other review sites, where many customers are complaining about their poor work quality. Their claims appear to be nothing more than false advertising and misleading marketing.

Servpro of North Central San Antonio employs unethical practices, preys on people when they are most vulnerable, lies and blatantly overcharges and bills for work not done. After a fire at my home, the production manager and general manager both showed up, uninvited and unannounced trying to secure a contract. I specifically asked if their franchise is a preferred provider for USAA. They both answered “yes.” I found out they are NOT. That initial lie was followed by overcharges and bills for work never done, like deodorizing a burned-out shell they were specifically told not to do; and the deodorizing never occurred, yet the charge stayed on the line-item statement and had to be repeatedly challenged. They sent a separate bill for a $4900 tarp that was already included in the final statement amount. They charged $13,300 for fans for one week to dry an 1800 sq ft house that was already taken down to the studs, including 15 fans in one room 17’8”X19’7”, 15 fans that were never there. In addition, fans were not brought in till 2 weeks after the loss. The kitchen stove, washer and dryer, a toilet and boxes of personal property in the attic are still in the home. They repeatedly refused to answer questions or give information and waited 3 months to bill me, even though they had all my contact information. Then 2 days before Christmas they began texting and emailing inflated statements, demanding immediate payment or my account would be sent to collections, their legal dept., and/or a lien put on my house. I am an elderly single woman and their pressure to collect money based on fraudulent bills is abuse. Stay away from this toxic company.
