Sepal AIReviews of sepalai.com

I have been working at Sepal AI for almost a year, and it has been a great experience. The team is supportive, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. The pay is competitive, and the remote flexibility has made a big difference in my work and life balance. Sepal AI is a place where people are trusted, appreciated, and encouraged to grow. I am really glad to be part of this company.

I started with SEPAL AI in August, initially as a trainer in a curator capacity. The work is complex, and high-quality content is required. The training and support are outstanding, and the amount of knowledge one can glean is simply exceptional. SEPAL's impeccable ethics are my most important factor in giving a very positive review of this company. Remuneration is excellent for this work, which builds a safe and efficient AI for everyone's benefit.

I've been supporting Sepal AI as a Biology Expert across several exciting short-term projects since last March (2025). I've really enjoyed the experience, from creative question development to Team Lead roles using my growing experience in this space. I found their onboarding process to be clear, stringent and fair, and it's easy to start making contributions to new projects thanks to detailed project guidelines and responsiveness in communications between the cohort of Experts and Team Leads. It's been inspiring work and I've also learned additional science communication and review skills along with project management when taking up a Team Lead role recently. Receiving payment for hours worked has been fast and easy via Deel, and their pay rates are really competitive.

Workflow was great and the team is motivated and efficient. It is nice to meet people of similar passion working on the project.

I've been working with Sepal AI since August and am really enjoying my work. The team is easy to work with, super approachable with any questions and concerns, and the pay is great! I'm hoping our projects keep getting extended because I would love to stay with them for much longer 😊

Sepal AI is a small, growing team, and in my experience, they really do their best to support their contributors. My interview was conducted by real team members rather than AI, which I appreciated. The payment I received matched my experience level and was very competitive. I contributed to biology-related work as both a consultant and a contributor, and I found the projects to be interesting, enjoyable, and flexible. It’s been fun to play a part in their growth and development over time. I’ve learned a lot of new things, made connections with other talented people, and always received my payments through Deel without any issues with compliance or delays. I would highly recommend them to my colleagues.

Working at Sepal has been a fantastic experience! As a PhD student, finding a role that offers both stimulating work and genuine flexibility is rare. Sepal allowed me to fit interesting projects into my weekly availability without compromising my other duties. Highly recommended for people seeking impactful and flexible remote work.

I’ve been working with Sepal AI on the physics side, developing advanced physics datasets to enhance AI safety, reasoning capabilities, and robustness. As one of the founding contributors, I initiated and led multiple early-stage projects focused on generating high-quality, novel physics problems to challenge and refine AI models. Management has great trust in employees. We submit our own hours and get paid accordingly, always on time. The pay is the best I’ve seen among all similar companies (I’ve earned around $57,600 to date), and there’s plenty of work to do. If you are a PhD, Postdoc, or Professor looking to make a significant income on the side while working on intellectually stimulating projects, this is for you.
