MARISSA
Credit Card Fraud
I have zero affiliation with Wyre but I got charged over $100 randomly in the middle of the night from Australia...and I'm Canadian! I got lucky and checked my email before bed seeing a confirmation for a random transaction I didn't authorize. I don't know how my credit card information was released (or found, hacked, whatever). If you receive a notification from Wyre about an unauthorized purchase, do NOT contact them regarding a refund (many reviews say they get the run around). Instead, contact your bank and card companes! Cancel your cards immediately and if there is no live customer service rep available, lock your cards! Watch out and be vigilant with your information and accounts, everyone!! I'm just glad I was able to lock my cards before they could make multiple transactions like others have experienced in these reviews. Either Wyre is participating in credit card and identity theft or allowing others to use their company for theft. It is no coincidence this transaction was made in the middle of the night outside of my card's customer service hours.
