The amazon sellers system seems great at first, but the more time you spend with it, the more you realise how little Amazon actually cares about people selling through their service, only that they take money from you. The cost of selling on amazon is far higher than sites like ebay, due to its hold on the market, not only do they take a larger cut of the sales for each item sold through them, but the 'allowance ' they give you for P&P is regularly far less than the actual costs. Selling video games, cds, ect may be fine, but as soon as your selling books, you'll be lucky if the allowance even covers half thar. Worst of all, if you ever have an issue with a buyer, the support team will not help you. Had someone refusing to return an item after requesting a refund. Amazon initially sided with the buyer, allowing the refund to go through, but when they were unable to prove they had even attempted to return the item, amazon would repeatedly refuse the charge back request, allowing the buyer to apparently keep the item and get the money back they spent on it. Apparently amazon seem to think it's perfectly fine to allow con-artists to abuse the site, because it will side with a buyer, no matter what.

sellercentral amazon france refuse de retirer une évaluation négative mensongère laissée par un acheteur visiblement de mauvaise foi. Il ne s'agit pas de problème d'interprétation mais apparement soit amazon économise les frais de personnel et ne souhaite pas confier cette tâche à son personnel soit elle décourage indirectement les vendeurs, explication du cas : après une commande d'un article, nous constatons que le produit est malheureusement épuisé et n'est pas disponible, nous en informons immédiatement l'acheteur, nous nous en excusons et lui expliquons qu'il ne sera pas facturé. Ensuite nous annulons la commande. Le lendemain matin, l'acheteur laisse une évaluation avec 1 étoile disant que nous avons annulé sans explication. Nous avons tenté la démarche de faire retirer l'évaluation mensongère sans succès. Le robot d'amazon nous informe que nous ne pouvons pas faire retirer l'évaluation. Nous avons tenté d'ouvrir un cas mais le site automatiquement bloque l'ouverture même du cas pour en parler. Il y a deux ans ce n'était pas comme ça. Nous avions pu annuler une évaluation mensongère dont amazon peut vérifier objectivement les données pour le constater.. Révoltant et inadmissible.

Watch out buyers. I let my prime membership run out last year with covid $$$issues. So for the past year whenever I order , they charge me shipping, even on orders qualifying for free shipping. Now they say you have to place the order first and they will refund it. NOT SO. I'm out $9.95 for my last order and God knows how many others in the last year. I tried to place a.$114.00 order and it came to $129.00 ?? When I went to order 1 item $10.95 they wanted $29.95 shipping. They tell you join Prime 119. Why should I have to spend that much for something that's already supposed to be free?? Better start checking before you push that " Place Order " No wonder they're rich. Don't trust them. Check everything.

Poor Tech Support for such a big company. PayPal was so much easier to implement and work with.
