SeaWorldReviews of seaworld.com

Just returned to the UK 28th October 2024, spending 31 days in Orlando. Sea World after all the video's about treatment of their animal's declined, but now appearing to be concentrating on roller coasters and rides. Pipeline coater is I think the best. BUT ONE CONCERN IS THEY HAVE GONE CASHLESS YOU HAVE TO USE A CREDIT CARD OR BANK CARD. THEY THEN ADD 5% TO ANY PAYMENT YOU MAKE FOR USING A CARD. You could not make it up.

We visited on September 30th and they had a Halloween celebration in Sea World. There were employees dressed as monsters that kept up pestering us at some of the park areas. This was very annoying as they came too close to us and kept yelling and hovering, making us feel very uncomfortable. We are an old couple and it was not easy evading them.

One star for the coasters and one for the wait times. The only reason this park isn't bankrupt yet is because they try to scam you with their overpriced food and the lockers. You have to BUY a locker for 3 dollars per 2 hours or 12 dollars for a day (you still have to pay extra to get it out if you leave it closed for over 2 hour). Also the drinking fountains weren't working on a HOT day. One of the staff members at 13:30 at the sesame street toilets at the 10th of September was really rude towards my boyfriend because he was waiting for me outside the restrooms, instead of asking nicely to wait somewhere else, she was really rude and onprofessional. We didn't had the energy to go to guest service to mention this. So i'll leave this here, tho i don't think they even care. At least I can inform the rest of you that are in doubt wether to go here or not.

My family are gold members to the Orlando park. We have had a great time for years going there until we started take my son to the Sesame Street part of that park the last 2 times we gone there. May 30 2024 and June 29 2034. My sister has been discriminated twice trying to join with her family in a ride. My sister a little heavy but not crazy big. Come on she has road rides in Legoland. First time she was walked out when she was getting into a ride . Few minutes they had lady come into the same ride bigger then her? We did not make an issue because wanted family to be happy. Today it almost happened again in the same area ion a different ride. We were ready for it. Foot down. We are also Native American Sioux. Hmm? Of all areas . The kids area. Shame. My boy does not need to watch this. My sister and son was weirded out about what happened both times. The employees needs to learn ethics. Shame on Seaworld Orlando.

We brought a 3 for 2 park ticket with all day dining from attraction tickets back in the uk before our visit. Once in Orlando we had to activate our tickets at the self service ticket machine at the first park visit which was sea world. There was a queue at these machines which only 4 out the 8 were working and people were still having problems! When we redeemed our tickets no seaworld tickets came out the machine! There was NO staff around to help or ask questions and there was a very long queue to ticket kiosks to speak to anyone. So we proceeded to the gate with our paperwork which had a barcode thinking this must now be the ticket. The man scanned but no this didn’t work! So then was told we had to queue at the kiosks! This queue was as long as queuing for a ride at Disney! Anyway we had no option but to now get in this queue. This honestly took us over 1 hour to see someone to sort this out! Again there was 12 kiosks but only 4 open! My daughter who is pregnant did finally find someone to tell them that this wasn’t acceptable and was told “welcome to spring break” the park wasn’t even that busy! This queue was down to not enough staff working on the kiosks! We finally got into the park nearly 2 hours after arriving at the park! On entry we were so hungry so went for food on our all day dining! More queues for food, slow service, no trays to carry food and salad for burger looking sad and limp! Finally sat down almost 3 hours after arriving at the park! With a late entry to the parks we just missed dolphin show so had to wait around for a later show and then missed the orca show at 3.30 so then had to wait till 9.30 to see this show! My daughter is pregnant and we have a five year old so couldn’t race around the park like teenagers! Again this park wasn’t busy! The wait time for mako was 10 minutes! Such a frustrating experience!!

I was looking forward to revisiting a part of my childhood. That SeaWorld was wonderful. Before I go into depth. I REALLY wish the animal advocates would stop talking about the animal cruelty. They are against any zoo and aquarium. If they really wanted change why not partner with SeaWorld and come up with better habitats instead of trying to guilt people into boycotting. I'm SICK of the animal people. Now to the review. There logistics are terrible. There are no attendants in the park to greet and guide you. There needs to be more signage throughout. I feel like the CEO'S main objective is to keep costs and staffing low while maximizing profits. The customer experience seems to be a very low priority. We spent an hour walking to find the Mardi Gras "parade". It lasted maybe 5 minutes. It literally consisted of 6 people which included 2 stilt walkers. It was nice to look at but extremely short. We didn't see any shows and there was no clear direction how to find anything. We did see a feed the dolpins exhibit that was an extra cost of $45/ea for 15 min! People pay enough for admission and parking why should they pay extra for anything except for food? There were very few places to sit. Even when we got Mexican food and drink, there were no seats! There were little tables to stand at. There is absolutely no announcements of the events. I believe there was a concert I'm not sure though. We did think the drinks were tasty. Overall, I miss the shows of the sea animals.

The Halloween event they were hosting sucked, On their website it only said ( If you want to buy reusable bags ) It did not say that if you didn't buy their bag, They would not give out candy to the kiddos! So upsetting seen many kids emotional for such a stupid thing. Busch Garden is so much better!

The two shows available the day we went were fun. If you're not into roller coasters, probably not a good choice for the money, especially since so many attractions were closed. The"eat all day deal" isn't much of a deal when the food is sub-par, even for an amusement park. It'd been a number of years since we had been to SeaWorld. We have absolutely no plans to return, ever.
