They sent the wrong part
They sent the wrong part, and when I returned it they only refunded the cost of the part, I got stuck for the shipping. Are they unethical or just stoopid?

I ordered a part that was promised in a week and it never came. No updates on the website. There is no way to cancel the order. The emails are all "no reply" and the customer service telephone tree does not give you the option and will not direct you to a live agent. So I called the sales line, because they always pick up. I was able to get the order canceled through the kindness of one person there, but even at that it was a lot of phone transfers and waiting. The business model is obviously to take your money and disappear, with no updates and no recourse.

Scam. Total scam. I called in an order for a Kenmore washer part. I completed the charge and was offered a better price, closer to the web order price. He said he had canceled the first order and asked me to reorder at the lower price. I trusted and did. Later I checked the card status and noticed I had been charged twice. I received one part, when promised. The part was defective or did not work. I ordered the same part from a more established company. The second part worked properly. I had been trying to get in contact with anyone at Searspartsdirect to correct the double charge. After the part did not work, I tried to return the part using their website. I completed the information but there is no computer function to print or display the UPS label. I saw nothing that activated the return. I called the customer support number and was put into successive loops of attempting to process a return or find anyone to speak with. I am preparing a letter with documentation to send to the corporate office location and contacting other business reviews and sites. I wish I had checked Trustedpilot first.

If there was an option for zero stars, I would do it. Telephone parts order pressures for letting them order NOW. I ordered on their website at the same time but the part did not come. When called, I was told that the part is back ordered. I'll never darken their doorstep again. Liars. No phone numbers to complain to for customer service.

I ordered a part from this place and when the scheduled arrival date was passed and I hadn’t received my part I went to the website and it said the order was canceled. When I called them they said it was because they did not accept PayPal. I found that strange because the website said they accepted PayPal. I was told to place my order using another form of payment. I placed a second order for the same part using my Visa card. I waited and the scheduled arrival date had passed. I went on the website and looked at my order and once again it said it had been canceled. When I called them they could not explain why it had been canceled so I told them I wanted refund. Then she proceeded to try to get me to subscribe to a water filtration subscription, which I denied, and then she tried to get me to subscribe to a in-home repair subscription which I denied. I told her I would not be ordering from them in the future if this was the way they did business. They never even sent me emails saying they had canceled my orders. I will not be ordering from them in the future. I suggest no one else orders from them either.

Scam. Ordered part, claims shipped but UPS explained they do not have any "physical" scan of the product and their tracking is all "logical" scans meaning their system "assumes" that's where the part is based on their process but until there is a "physical" scan, none of the tracking is actually validated. UPS says shipper would receive a receipt for the physical scan. So, Sears Parts Direct exploits the crappy UPS system, prints a shipping label and then sits back and claims it has been shipped but can provide no receipt for the physical scan. Also, you can't get an actual person, just the endless loop of automated menu. I had to file with my payment processor to try to get my money back.

Nightmare! We ordered 4 parts. 1 was never sent. 2 were faulty and the 4th was incorrect. They refused to offer returns despite advertising returns and sending the wrong products. It's been over 40 days and we are out of pocket 4-figures. They refuse to help and constantly just cite 'system issues'

Placed an order for my dishwasher--a sump inlet on January 16, 2024 for $47.25 because this listing said item was in stock. My credit card was charged that same date. A day or so later I received an email from Searspartsdirect stating that part was backorder. New date was 2/29/24. That date passed and they will not give an updated delivery. Instead, I received another email stating that my CC will be credited a smaller amount. I will see if that happens. Sears once was a great company to deal with, but absolutely not now. Just read many reviews. I agree with many who have had similar LACK OF SERVICE. And, I also agree with many who said this company is a SCAM now. Update, 3/13/24: Ordered this item from Amazon on 3/10/24 and received it on 3/12/24. And, at a cheaper price [$32.20] than Searspartsdirect.
