It took several tries to get my order correct. In an effort to rectify this I was offered a 10% discount but on a higher total invoice then my original quote. After one year I do not believe Seadek will hold up to the 5-7 years advertised. I believe this is due the installation process being advertised as being installed right over non-skid surfaces. I believe the non-skid needed to be sanded down. At a minimum the instructed 1/8" over the non-skid should be at least 3/8" or the most allowed to obtain a good "seal" over the non-skid. I would use this product again but make those changes on the install.

Hi Ted, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. We have done years of extensive testing and SeaDek can be applied right on top of a standard non skid. It is best to go 1/4" past the non skid to secure the bond. We do not however recommend sanding your deck before application as it is not a necessary step. For additional adhesion, you could also use a Primer 94 if you feel you have an aggressive nonskid to help the bond. Thank you.
