Hello Andrea- I'm happy your legs look so great and you are so happy with the results. It's also worth noting that seeing a medical specialist in any field is really to your benefit. I hope to never need a knee replacement but if I do, it will be done by a doctor who does nothing but knee replacements. The more you do something the better you get at it and it certainly applies to medicine as well. Its funny but as for being on a cruise or in the sun after treatment, it's really not an issue in almost all cases. Hi Dani- First off thank you for the very thorough and helpful review. I know others will appreciate your input. As for healing times, its funny, we like to say we under promise and over deliver. I always say that nobody ever called our office to 'complain the veins healed faster then expected'. Everybody heals differently and even veins in the same leg can heal and disappear at different speeds. While leg pains and symptoms from veins will often be eliminated more rapidly then the veins themselves there just isn't one set healing time for everybody. Thank you again Dr. Lee G. Hi LG- I am proud of the results we got with your very large hand veins and how much younger your hands looks now. Treatment of leg or facial veins often leads to very happy patients but the hands, being visible all the time, tend to be the area of greatest patient satisfaction. Also remember that when we treat the veins in the hands, you get a forever guarantee should veins ever recur. There are no asterisks or conditions in this promise. We treat the hand veins and forever we will do any touchups to your hands should any other veins ever appear. Also I believe I recall how nervous you were before we treated the veins near your eyes and in the temple areas. As I told you then, 'yes its near the brain and eye as a straight line, but as the blood flows, its a very far distance and not to worry'. I am sure we discussed how when standing, my feet are just about 12 inches from the office below mine, but to get there I would have to leave the exam room, go through the hallway, go down the stairs, walk the hallway on that floor..... so its not really 'near' the other office'. You know from friends of yours we have treated that the veins wont immediately disappear but you will be very happy once the healing is done.
