Great boost for your animation knowledges!

I followed Animation Bootcamp at SOM and got a ton of new information. The lessons, PDFs, podcasts and assignments are very instructive; the SOM team always gives you that extra push, and it's very inspiring to be in contact with fellow students from all over the world. SOM really helped me grow as an animator.

This was my first SOM course (After Effects Kickstart). Although the first week was quite light, this soon ramped up to a nice demanding course with lots of tuition, yet lots of homework tasks to complete. The variation was also very good and having access to all the materials forever is also very welcome. If my company is willing to fund me again, I'll definitely be coming back for more!

I'd used After Effects before but always felt a bit out of my depth. The School of Motion After Effects Kickstarter course made me a lot more confident in using the programme and I learned so much. The set-up is great, the lessons are fun and there's a ton of cool content that just keeps your creative juices flowing.

I took a course from the School of Motion Animation Bootcamp and I really liked the course. This course has given me a lot of new knowledge. I learned how to work with the graph editor to control the speed and values in the animation. I learned a lot of nuances about the principles of animation, learned how to apply them. I realized how to make my animation more interesting for the viewer. I learned a lot of useful things about building a career in motion design. And I got a lot of ideas for my projects for my portfolio. SOM thank you for such a high-quality and useful course.

Very relaxing paced schooling, with very positive atmosphere. Go at your own pace, and turn in your work for helpful critique.

LOVED this class! Hugely helpful. One minor annoyance is the website - the numbered tabs on the right within each week seem a little laborious. A lot of clicking to open and close each section to see what is inside. Not sure how this could be remedied, as it condenses the material so you don't have to scroll down, but it still feels a little clunky. The other suggestion is to send out fewer emails. I loved reading them and they definitely add some humor and cheering-on in my inbox, but it's still my inbox, a place not a lot of us love. Overall though, I'm recommending this class to others. Cheers!

I found taking School of Motion’s Animation Bootcamp course to be an excellent experience. Although I was already an experienced motion graphics artist, I learned a lot of new techniques and approaches. Having TAs and fellow students providing critiques of my work was invaluable. It was a well planned course that I felt was well worth the cost.
