I had to pay for a mistake that was both sides
I had to pay for a mistake that was neither parties fault I am an Afrikaans speaking South African citizen and in South Africa we use the abreviation JHB I don't work with airline to know about IPATA or Airline codes, I did try to explain this it did say Johannesburg but I was dismissed and I was desperate for the service so left it. I did not see that IPATA or Airline abreviations should be used, a person not knowing them would go with their countries abreviations for a destination.

Hi, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry for the frustration this caused. We understand your point completely: in South Africa, “JHB” is commonly used for Johannesburg, and it’s reasonable that you would enter the abbreviation you’re familiar with, especially if you don’t work with airline or IATA/airport codes. We also regret that you felt dismissed when you tried to explain the situation. That’s not the experience we want any customer to have. To clarify, airline and reservation systems generally recognize destinations using IATA airport codes (for Johannesburg, that would be JNB). When a non-standard abbreviation is entered, the system may not be able to generate the reservation correctly without manual correction or reprocessing. That said, we agree our communication should have been clearer, and we should have guided you more supportively rather than leaving you feeling unheard. We’re taking this feedback seriously and are already working on improving our booking instructions and validation prompts (including clearer guidance on airport codes vs. local abbreviations) to prevent this from happening again. If you’re willing, please contact us at support email/phone with your order details so we can review what happened and see what we can do to assist further.
