Every job I delegated to be applied to on Scale.Jobs has resulted in a rejection or no selection at all. This has remained the outcome even after I upgraded to the resume customization option. I have only had them for about a month and there has been no luck in finding anything. I am not hopeful this will work.
Response from Scale.jobsSep 26, 2026
Hi Shaina, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We completely understand why, after a month without seeing the outcome you expected, you would feel disappointed. We reviewed your account carefully to understand what has happened so far. At this stage, the account is still at a very early application volume. We have submitted 55 applications in total, with one day accounting for 25 applications. On most other days, the application volume has been only 1–2 applications because relatively few jobs have been added for our team to apply to. Of those 55 applications, we have received 22 rejection emails so far. Our review also found that 24 applications were a good match, 24 were a partial match, and 7 were not a strong match based on the available resume, skills and job requirements. We also want to clarify that the resume customization add-on was added later, so only 19 of the 55 applications were submitted after that service was activated. This means there has not yet been enough application volume using the customized-resume workflow to meaningfully evaluate its impact. For the best results, we recommend consistently adding relevant opportunities and reviewing the job descriptions carefully before adding them for application. With only a small number of applications being submitted on most days, it is difficult to generate enough market exposure to assess traction within a short period.

1000+ jobs applied, 0 call backs. Did not serve the purpose. The platform is very buggy. Its the Gemini AI model customizing the resumes and not a human. Job search algorithm is relatively weak compared to other platforms.

Hi Kushal, We’re sorry the service did not deliver the value you expected especially after more than 1,000 applications, receiving no callbacks is understandably frustrating. Scale.jobs is designed to remove the repetitive work of finding and submitting applications so clients can spend more time on networking, referrals, interview preparation, and skill-building. We do not promise interviews or job offers, but we are responsible for accurate targeting, consistent execution, and a reliable platform. To help clients make an informed decision and keep the expectations right, we openly feature one-star reviews on our website and discuss the most common reasons behind them - including receiving low/no callbacks despite a large number of applications. We’ve shared a detailed explanation of what our service can and cannot influence. That context does not diminish your disappointment or excuse any shortcomings.

Worst service ,While the onboarding process went smoothly and my client manager, Preethi, was excellent responsive and helpful with every issue I raised the core paid service fell far short of what I was promised. I paid $800 for applications andadd-ons, specifically a Personal Recruiter and Resume Customization. During my onboarding call, I clearly stated that I wanted jobs that closely matched my profile. Instead, my Personal Recruiter, Deepthi, repeatedly delegated jobs that were unrelated to my profile and in entirely different industries. I flagged this multiple times and asked her to delegate quality, relevant roles, but nothing changed. On top of that, the human assistants applied to these mismatched jobs using resumes that did not fit the roles. They applied blindly, without rechecking whether the resume or job actually matched my profile. This was only acknowledged as a mistake after I flagged it no one caught it proactively. Out of roughly 400 applications, a significant number were irrelevant to my field. This wasted an entire month of my time. I’m requesting a full refund of the $800 I paid for the Resume Customization and Personal Recruiter add-ons, as the service delivered was not what I paid for. Being offered a refund for only 382 (of the applications/amount) is not acceptable given the scope of the errors, which were on your team’s side.

Hi Tanusha, We're genuinely sorry that this was your experience. First, thank you for acknowledging Preethi's responsiveness during onboarding. We're glad that part of the experience met your expectations, but it's clear we fell short where it mattered most. We acknowledge the lapses you highlighted. If roles outside your target profile were delegated repeatedly despite your feedback, and resumes were applied to jobs that weren't a good fit, that's not the standard we aim to deliver. We also agree that these issues should have been caught by our internal quality control rather than being identified by you after the fact. Your feedback has been shared with our operations and quality teams so we can tighten our delegation, resume validation, and application review processes to prevent similar leakages in the future. We understand why you're disappointed and appreciate you taking the time to explain your experience in detail. While we may not agree on every aspect of the resolution, we genuinely hope you'll give us another opportunity in the future to demonstrate the level of quality and care that thousands of our customers have come to expect from us. Thank you again for your honest feedback, it helps us improve. - Leela, Co-founder

This review originates from India. While we operate from India, we don't have any paid customers from India. And on top of that, it is common knowledge the name being 'Emily' from India is very unusual and makes me question the authenticity of the review. We reached out to all the customers with Emily as name but only hit with wall. Happy to be proven wrong or corrected and we'd welcome the reviewer to share the email address associated with their account so we can investigate if at all there's any legitimacy - Leela, Co-founder

They have this button here, notice what is says just under it "try for free". but if you click on that, you're asked to select a plan, enter card details, and pay. As per research, this company has a pattern or harmful practices including but not limited to straight up theft, and attempts to suppress negative reviews left on TrustPilot. I have submitted all relevant screenshots to not only Scale.jobs but also my local Attorney General as well as the Federal Trade Commission, as this is the exact type of illegal business practice they go after. If anyone else has been charged, stolen from, persuaded to remove a review, or false advertised to, I highly recommend taking the few minutes to file with the FTC as well as your local AG. This company must face consequences, as none of this is a victimless crime and people are really hurt financially by such practices. **UPDATE** I don't just assume things, I research them before taking steps. Trust Pilot won't let me post a link, or an email, please let me know how i can relay the information, as this site also does not allow screenshots either. Your site has no contact method. I promise i have not made anything up, i have all the proof, i just don't know how to get it to you. “Try for Free” refers to accessing the platform with the initial 10 AI Assistant credits we provide at no cost." I didn't see anything about credits. i just click try for free and it takes me to a page where i need to choose a very expensive plan, then pay for it. I had to take a call from a rep to get a link for a free trial. **UPDATE** I gave the free trial a try, which offers for them do submit 5 job apps for me for free to see how it works and how they do. I'm getting emails from the 3 available companies i selected asking to to do the job application. So effectively all they did was submit my email to the companies. I still had to manually apply to each job myself. How pathetic. AI def. does a better job than these clowns.

Updated reply after Robert Owens updated his review: Dropping this update after our team, including a sales rep made multiple attempts on mobile to reach out to make this review factually accurate, but those attempts were dodged. Let’s stick to facts. You’ve made serious allegations like “theft,” “false advertising,” and “illegal practices,” but have not provided a single verifiable instance of an unauthorized charge or misuse of funds. On your actual trial usage: Out of the 5 jobs you delegated, 3 listings had already expired for which we couldn't apply. 1 other job required colleague references from past companies, which we obviously don’t have access to. These reasons were clearly documented in our tracking system, but it appears you did not review them So the claim that “nothing was done” or that we simply “submitted your email” is not accurate. If there was any genuine issue, we’re always open to investigating and correcting it. But that requires engaging with the facts, not broad accusations. ---------------------- Earlier Reply: “Try for Free” refers to accessing the platform with the initial 10 AI Assistant credits we provide at no cost. It does not mean unlimited usage without any payment setup. We are a business after all and not a non profit. If that caused confusion, we’ll review the wording but calling this “theft” or an “illegal practice” is a serious accusation and requires actual evidence. You’ve made multiple claims here: “theft,” “false advertising,” “FTC complaints,” and a “pattern of harmful practices,” but haven’t provided a single concrete example, screenshot, or even confirmed your identity. We have no record of receiving anything from the names mentioned. I am also curious to see where your research came from. Please throw some light If there was an unauthorized charge or any real issue, it should be straightforward to show even one instance. Without that, this reads more like speculation than fact. We’re happy to investigate and correct ourselves if something genuinely went wrong but that requires verifiable details, not broad accusations. - Balaji Co-founder, Scale.jobs

I checked their pricing plans and features before purchasing, and I found them quite expensive compared to similar resume services I’ve seen. For example, their plans seem significantly higher than other platforms offering resume and cover letter tailoring. Based on this, I feel the pricing could be more reasonable for the value provided.

Hi Anonymous user, This feels like an unfair assessment given you haven’t used our service. It is clear that the review is based on assumptions with prejudice rather than actual experience. Our service is fundamentally different and betten than typical tools or services in the market, and that’s reflected in feedback from customers who have actually used it.

RE:Leela: Leela, this is a polished version of the email you sent me privately. The difference is that the private version also asked me to take the review down. I notice that part didn't make it into the public reply. The workflow explanation is also worth examining. When I contacted support on March 5 about the untouched applications, the response was "I've informed the operations team" and a promise to personally ensure they were completed. No mention of a workflow bug. No mention of a system requiring all five applications before triggering. That explanation appeared for the first time a week later, after this review was posted. A bug didn't ignore three emails, a text, and a chat message requesting account deletion over the course of a week. A bug didn't put someone on the phone who couldn't understand the word "cancel." And a bug didn't decide to ask a customer to remove an honest review rather than simply own what happened. The review is accurate. It will remain accurate regardless of how many times the story around it gets edited. Original review: Zero stars if I could. Scale.jobs is a service that promises to apply to jobs on your behalf. Here is what actually happened. I signed up for the free trial, which provides 5 job delegations. I submitted 2 jobs. After 48 hours, neither had been touched. My account manager texted me and promised she would get them done. Another 24 hours passed. Still untouched. 72+ hours, two simple tasks, zero action. I requested account deletion and data removal. I sent an email to their privacy team citing Section 8.5 of their own Terms of Service. No response. I sent a follow-up email the next day. No response. A week later, I sent a third email, a text message, and a message through their chat system. The response I finally received was a phone call from someone who could barely speak English on a connection so poor I could hardly hear them. Rather than addressing my deletion request, they repeatedly insisted they were going to complete the two jobs I had submitted over a week earlier. When I told them, multiple times, that I wanted my account cancelled and my data purged, the person did not understand or would not listen. I had to raise my voice and eventually hang up. To summarize: they couldn't complete 2 job applications in 72+ hours for a trial customer. They ignored multiple written requests to delete my account. When they finally called, they tried to retain me rather than honor my request. Their own Terms of Service promise data deletion "within a reasonable time." A week of being ignored is not reasonable. If they can't handle two tasks for a prospective customer, imagine what paying customers experience. Save your money.

Updated revert: Mick, I did ask in my private email whether you’d consider taking the review down after the issue was resolved. Once you declined, I respected that and didn’t pursue it further. I shared the rest of the context here so prospective customers can see the full picture. It wasn’t my intent to hide anything, just that the request had already been declined and didn’t add relevance to the public response. As mentioned earlier, we will send a confirmation email within the next 24 hours once your account and data have been fully purged. Original Revert: Hi Mick, Sorry you had a negative experience, and I acknowledge the lapse here. The 5-application free trial was introduced only about a week ago into workflows that were originally designed for paid plans and have been battle-tested for over a year. The way the system was initially configured required all 5 trial applications to be delegated before the workflow was activated. In practice, we quickly realized that many users like yourself, understandably want to test the service with 1–2 applications first, not all five at once. Because of that design oversight, cases like yours ended up in a limbo state where the workflow never triggered. We identified this issue a couple of days ago and have rolled out a fix today so that even if one job is delegated, the system will activate and applications should be processed within 6 hours at most. Given that this is an entirely new workflow layered on top of a fairly complex operational system, our sales team has also been playing catch-up and adapting in real time, which unfortunately contributed to the confusion in a few early trial cases like yours. On the communication side, I also apologize that your emails regarding account deletion weren’t addressed promptly. Our team has been heavily focused on firefighting the above workflow issue over the past few days, but that doesn’t excuse missing your request. We will follow up with you shortly to ensure your account deletion and data removal request is handled properly. Regarding paid customers, those workflows have been running for over a year and have gone through multiple iterations, so the experience there is generally smooth. The issues you experienced are specifically related to the new trial onboarding flow, and we expect those early issues to be fully ironed out this week. Again, apologies for the frustration this caused, and thank you for pointing it out, feedback like this helps us catch and fix these edge cases quickly. - Leela Co-founder, Scale.jobs
