Santa Barbara Tax Products GroupReviews of sbtpg.com

I have done my taxes through Intuit for years and this is the first time I have paid my fee with a refund, not realizing it would go through a third party which would take an exorbitant fee out of my refund. I will never do this again - they take their fee and then take their sweet time sending you the remainder of your refund. I suppose this allows them to make even more money on what they could send you immediate. Horrible experience!

Customer service is the worse in the industry. If you have other options, stay away from them.

If I could give this tax firm 0 stars I would. They are such a scam. DO NOT USE THEM!! After waiting to receive my refund for the past 2 years and a half that was prepared by them, they took out over 50% of my taxes for fees. I wish y’all nothing but the worse. I can’t wait to see this company on the news for tax fraud. May yall rot in unheavenly fire.

They completely messed up my federal. I wouldn't take my dead dog to them.

What a scam this bank is. They claim that my approved direct deposit from the IRS seemed suspicious while charging me over $300.Now they claim they are sending it back to the IRS and could take up to 90 days for them to receive it. What a clown show this year tax refund has turned into. I will never use TurboTax or any other company that USES Sbtpg. Lesson learned as I have still not received my funds yet.

TERRIBLE COMPANY‼️ Shame on TurboTax as well, I will not be using ever again.

Holds tax refunds until the very last minute, for absolutely no reason. Showing as funded for a week now, but clearly holding until the DDD to earn interest. SO beyond rediculous and frustrating.

Absolutely ridiculous! Paying all these fees for early deposit for it to cancel. Even if your accounts says funded, they still haven’t sent it to your personal account. They only trying to build interest off your money
