Santa Barbara Computer Repair " PC Mechanic"Reviews of sbpcmechanic.com

To begin with working with Ramsin was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences. He is personable, fun and amazingly patient and knowledgeable. Good to talk to and with as well as getting the things you want to know explained in wonderful "English" language, even I could understand. The work he did for our house is working amazingly well, the internet is fast and glitchfree. The connections are spot on, and what he did to my computer saved me lots of dollars and has extended the life and speed and efficiency for more years.

I called Ramsin, asking for a particular computer build for my business. Within two days, there was my new machine he had built for me, working perfectly in my office. I didn't have to do anything, and I really appreciated how he listened to my needs and did all the work for me at a very reasonable price. He's also helped me with home wireless networking in the past, and his solutions have been stable and reliable. I highly recommend him for all your computer needs.

I have gone to Ramsin for help several times and he has always delivered at a fair price, sometimes solving what were (to me anyway) very complicated problems. He made the computer I'm using now, and it's the best I've ever had. I recommend the PC Mechanic very highly.

Very fast and professional service. My WIFi died and I was luck to find Ramsin. He helped me with wall to wall wifi system in my house. Thank you so much. Highly recommend him to anyone in SB.

Ramsin was amazing at helping me wife MacBook Pro which was very slow to a super fast computer at a very affordable price he completed the work on Sunday because I only can lend it for a few hours as my wife is working on her degree. Thanks

Fast, Appropriate actions well executed. Stands by his work when the unexpected occurs.

I initially found Ramsin, owner of PC Mechanic (Santa Barbara Computer Repair), after suffering a computer meltdown during a recent power outage and needing to salvage some important files on my hard drive. He not only quickly saved the key files (I had them within a day), but he also helped me choose a new PC, set it up, transfer my files and programs from old to new, and choose better forms of back-up and virus/malware protection to ease similar situations in the future. All of this support occurred over a span of just a few days, and his pricing was so reasonable that I actually rounded up my payment to express my gratitude for his work. I've been teaching at UCSB and several other major universities for nearly three decades, so my 4 PCs receive a lot of use. When I search for occasional tech support, I focus on four primary issues: (1) technical expertise, (2) timely communication with me, (3) professional courtesy, and (4) fair pricing. Ramsin has earned top marks in each category, and his overall decency as a warm, caring person makes me look forward to every interaction with him. Computer support doesn't get any better than that for me and my needs, and I've continued to rely on Ramsin for many years as needs arise. My highest recommendation.
