Seems to work for the seller, even though the buyer is paying the initial fees
If you're knowledgeable about buying and selling domains, you'll quickly realize that this isn't a service you can count on to negotiate for you as the buyer. Replies were prompt but overall a mediocre experience. Their own tool places the value of the domain I wanted to purchase at less than $700 yet the seller wanted (according to Kris) mid-four to five figures. Of course the seller wants more -- when I sell domains, I want as much as anyone is willing to pay too! As a rationalization though, Kris insisted domains like the one I wanted to purchase sell for that price. No, they don't. (And I know they don't.) As a drop I'd be surprised if anyone bought it. My evaluation is that if you want to overpay, this would be the procurement service for you. I've had better experiences with Godaddy and Snapnames for brokerage.

Hi Irene, Thanks for the opportunity to attempt to acquire a domain name on your behalf. We have read over your review and would like to get back to you about it. I would like to assure you that in this instance we did not work on the sellers behalf we worked on yours. You hired us. We were trying to acquire the domain for the best price possible. The auto appraisal tool gives a general idea of the market value, and like any product, if the owner values it at higher than what others may consider market value, then they will ask for a higher price. I did some quick research into the name and it seems like the same person has owned this name for the last 9 years, this would increase the likelyhood that they would want a higher price. There are many possible reasons for that, they might have plans for it, they might have invested heavily into it already. I have looked at your correspondence with Kris, and I am confident that Kris has done his best to acquire the name for you. I am sorry this was not a fit for your budget. We have refunded your initial payment for the service.
