SaneBox has many awesome features, but by far the best one is their crew. They were responsive in all ways that I could hope for, fixing problems that weren’t even their fault. Overall, a great product and a great company.

On Paper, the average person may believe there would be no benefit to using a service such as Sanebox, unless they’re using it for a business, in which many emails are coming in and going out. I used to believe this notion, but after using Sanebox for a few days, I can safely say it’s definitely a service worth investing into. I do not own a business, nor do I have large amounts of emails to deal with, but the value of this service pays for itself. I want to be able to focus on what really matters when it comes to emails, and not having to worry about minor things, like specials Amazon may be having or my credit statements (I know I’m already paid off for the month.). Sanebox puts those distractions aside to address more pressing matters with people I actually send emails to. The beauty of Sanebox is you do not need a third party app to run it. It actually works with your default email services. Sure, it also compliments others mail apps , but It’s not mandatory. Sanebox works by placing emails from people you know and prioritizes them in your emai box, while less important emails end up in a file called @sanelater. From there, you can decide what you want tondo with them. The only thing I don’t like is to have all the different folder features, you have to purchase a higher tier service, which can be costly. It’s not that much of a deal breaker, since the 90% of what you need will be included in the basic service. There are a lot of features to describe, but the service remains simple, effective, and non-intrusive. It’a definitely worth the price of admission to simplify the emailing experience.

Hi Timothy, Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and thorough review. It’s great. When we started SaneBox, we made the decision that we would never show our users ads and would never sell their information. We also committed to continuously improve upon our product and offer excellent customer support. In order to make both of these happen, a subscription model was necessary. One great option that not all users know about is the big discount you get when you sign up for an annual or biennial plan. Biennial subscriptions are 40% less than monthly plans, which means you can get the Lunch plan for nearly the same price as the Snack plan when you sign up for two years. Again, thank you so much for your feedback — we really appreciate it. Happy Emailing, The SaneBox Crew

I really liked it, and the setup is quite intelligent. It accurately sorts almost all of my mail. It is however, somewhat expensive.

Glad to hear that you like it, Ben, and thanks for the feedback. Please know how much we appreciate your business and rest assured that your subscription is going toward enhancements to our existing features, the development of exciting new features, and an exceptional customer support team. We also promise to never show you ads. Thanks again and happy emailing!

To whom this may concern, I want to start by saying I absolutely love your product. Out of the box, it is very easy to use and intuitively accomplishes what I have NOT been able to after a decade of attempting to get organized in email. I feel like this service truly offers more than a typical filtering or spam monitoring service. This product truly changed my life for the better (as strange as that sounds for those that aren't using it) and addresses so many of the issues entrepreneurs and other working adults face with email and the balancing act of work life and prioritizing day to day workload. I very rarely write reviews, so that should be a strong indicator on how passionate I am about SaneBox. I have a few things I think you should consider at SaneBox. First, I think you should credit your promoting "evangelists" more than $5 per referral (Especially for those spending $36 a month with you). Other related services, such as side kick (with a lower price point), are crediting their referral sources a free month of service. Perhaps the price to operate and bottom line looks different between products, but that was my first thought on the price point currently being offered. Perhaps there is more credited at a later date for successful long-term referrals, if someone chooses to move forward with a paid subscription. I am new to your service, so I can not confirm if this is the case or not and I have not seen anything to suggest this is the case. Additionally, from a marketing perspective, I would not refer to the $5 credit as a "gift" in your automated email campaign notifying us of the credit. You might want to consider calling it a reward. At times it takes considerable effort to explain and promote your product enough to talk others into trying it. After several attempts to promote this product through personal social channels, the only folks that have subscribed from my efforts are extremely technical and running servers on their own. The biggest hurdle there was convincing them that they don't have something they are already using that does "this". I don't envy the technical and complicated nature of your marketing message, lol. Furthermore, calling it a gift in the subject line and body email copy doesn't seem like an accurate description of the credit, I would call it a reward or something else catchy that relates back to the product like a SaneCredit. The "gift" email language just rubbed me the wrong way, and I know this isn't intentional. In regard to transparency, I find the pricing very difficult to understand, even after considerable research on your pricing page. Along the way I opted into additional folders, dropbox storage, etc. through your in-bound campaigns. It isn't entirely clear that opting in for additional folders, will increase my price per month. Also, the pricing layout grid doesn't clearly show the difference between the lunch, dinner and other options. I had to cut and paste all of the descriptions of the levels into excel to see them next to each other after several minutes of bouncing in between screens, to verify that they are all indeed, all the same/similar pricing descriptions. Each level says that you get a different amount of optional features, but it isn't clear which are options causing you to jump to the next price level. I believe, after googling other websites that talk through your pricing in paragraph format that the price you pay is tied to the amount of folders and email accounts I am integrating with your service. I think your payment structure needs some work, however I believe that the transparency of the pricing structure at this time is a much more critical issue to your paying customers/advocates. I love the ROI calculator you are using to multiply out the total income saved by using this service. What an excellent sales tool! I also was surprised to learn that there isn't an iOS app for your product. I think this would help on the mobile integration of the tool, especially when you initially sign up for the platform and there is an innate sense of paranoia that you are missing something important while you are "on the go". I hope that you will find this to be helpful. Sincerely, Jennifer Sigler Enrollment Builders

I belive my email address got into some sort of spam-list and I recieve almost a hundred spam mails per day. Sanebox allows me to review the spam at a time that suits me the most. Im still able to get notifications on my mobile from important messages, while the spam goes to SaneLater folder.
Response from SaneBoxMay 7, 2015
I’m sorry to hear that you ended up on that list, Heikki, but we’re very happy our service has been able to help! We hope that a combination of SaneBlackHole and your email client’s spam reporting tools will help you be free from unimportant email soon. Please let us know if we can do anything to help you filter your emails better!
Fred
SaneBox does save me many hours a week. Its algorithms are exceptional at weeding out less important email, which I can view later, as well as sending a daily digest for quick scanning. Their pricing is a little high for the features I use, though.
Response from SaneBoxMay 6, 2015
Thank you for your kind words, Fred. We genuinely appreciate your business and hope you know that your subscription helps us to continuously improve our product, support, and everything else that’s a part of the customer experience. Thank you for being a SaneBox user!
