Sam and his partner John are hiring people from marketplace and kijiji. Once the job is finished they don't pay you. I don't understand how they can do that when people work so hard for them, making sure the job is done right. Everyone has responsibilities, families to feed, bills to pay, etc. They hired me, and once the job was finished they didn't pay me, they blocked my number and act like I don't exist. What can I do? How can I make sure I get the money that is owed to me. I worked my ass off for these guys, and they literally ignored and blocked me when all I was doing was asking for my pay.

I called on Monday and am still awaiting a response on Wednesday. Was forced to deal with an AI receptionist. No way to speak to a human. Very Frustrated. Even if they called me back I wouldn't use them because there is no way to reach a human!

This company is completely unprofessional and disorganized. I spent an entire week coordinating with them. They confirmed my appointment on Friday, confirmed again today, and then—at 6:35 PM on the day of the appointment—I get a voicemail saying they “can’t give me an estimate because I live 120 miles away.” What’s wild is that their own website (serviceminder./service/schedule/book) clearly lists my city and ZIP code as part of their service area, along with locations even farther out. So they absolutely did know where I lived. They had my address from the start. They confirmed twice. Then suddenly, at the last minute, it becomes a problem? To make it worse, Craig—the caller—actually told me I was wasting his time. Imagine a company confirming an appointment twice, canceling at the last minute, and then blaming the customer. Completely backwards. After that call, I looked them up and saw the long list of negative reviews. It all made perfect sense. Honestly, they did me a favor by canceling. I’d rather deal with a company that respects customers and knows how to run a business. Avoid this company at all costs. Do NOT hire these bums.

This company spun an ad across our Facebook dashboard promising quality workmanship, communication and customer care. We attempted to hire this company but unfortunately all we received were silly juvenile telephone crank calls Hang Ups and run around in circles.. Anyone would be a fool to remotely considering hiring this joke of an Internet presence

My experience with Sam concrete was one of the worst in terms of home improvement. They replaced my driveway that degraded (scaling) about 8 months later that they agreed to replace. In this they replaced sections and aside from my now multi colored driveway they BLEW the concrete dust even as OSHA "strictly prohibits" dry sweeping let alone blowing it and it made a mess in our yard no to mention the fact this dust is cancerous do to silica in it... owner was less than responsive aside from asking my to NOT report to OSHA. I have video on the blowing.

Just pick another business. Unprofessional. No corporate backing. Contacted HQ multiple times with no acknowledgement from anyone. Just an agitated email from the franchisee that we were bothering corporate. Our walkway cracked in 6 months. Poor time management. Sloppy - concrete splash on or home that was not cleaned. Discards dumped on our neighbor property. Unclean edges. Front step not "squared". Franchise took payment and considered work complete after we tried to resolve with him. Then a crack. He finally showed up unannounced on our property and did not bother to knock on the door- we were home. Did not want the hassle.

If I could have given these guys zero stars I would have. Had high hopes of these guys doing my courtyard and driveway. They quoted me $9700 for a concrete pad installed with Travertine pavers on top. I paid separately for the pavers myself The day before they were to start they call to tell me the price was now $13200 Said they didn’t account for the concrete. Can you believe that, a concrete company that in their quote didn’t include the concrete Stay away from these guys.
