Damages and Sloppy Workmanship.…
Damages were caused by the Technicians at “Sam The Concrete Man” located in the Trevose, Pa. Bucks County Franchise while using their equipment. The Jackhammer cracked our Bay Window around the bottom of the frame, the Lawn was torn up and we had to purchase sod to replace the destruction. The Wood placed to pour cement for our step is still embedded in the walkway, a shadow of the pieces remain, bonding came apart, our driveway was never cleaned from the equipment going up and down and is still embedded in the asphalt. A line that was created for effect is deteriorating, leaving stone and rock underneath visibly peeling daily. Buyer Beware! I Do Not recommend this company.
Response from Sam The Concrete ManMay 22, 2025
We always carry a deep care and understanding for our customers, and aim to leave every job with the homeowner happy that they had chosen Sam The Concrete Man. Unfortunately, while Charlene Maguire's post is full of passion, her expectation to the extent of our services is unreasonable and misaligned. The door trim around the concrete landing we removed was decades old, oxidized, and in contact with the concrete removed. Additionally, her door threshold was completely rotted out. We will work with our customers to address what we can when we can, but we strongly disagree with a homeowner demanding reparations of decades old materials aging. After she had paid in full, we had come back 3x to try and appease her and find a solution to a problem that was out of our control or scope of work. When her expectation was miles apart of what we felt was within our obligation as the contractor, Charlene resorted to harassment, slandering our workers, taking personal shots at our owner, and even bringing his children into the attacks. Please understand, we are a concrete company that truly enjoys working with our homeowners to provide the highest quality of trade and care. Licensed and insured within the State of PA and NJ.
