I really like the Samsara platform, very robust, provides great data, and wonderful tool which assists with our compliance and connected easily to our TMS.

I like the overall format of the app, There are a few Glitches, like the annoying violation pop up is really unnecessary, Also Maybe in the long term foreseeable future adding a AI version of the app. If you guys were to accomplish a Ai that could just get me short cuts to the back ups in traffic or even help me maneuver threw LOS ANGELS TRAFFIC during rush hour that would allow me cut arrival time even by a little bit to get more done in my day that would be a good dream!

Samsara is similar enough to Verizon Reveal and OmniTrax so that one can get with it on day one. Webinars need to be more direct. Lots of wasted time in the two that I signed up for. Can’t afford a lot of that

I really think someone should be hands on maybe even on the ground to help everyone get setup and take full advantage of your product. People are short staffed this day and time and do not have time to take a training class . You have a decent product but i need someone here looking at my day to day and help make me better. Samsara could learn a lot from Log Creek in return.

With our recent purchase of the Samsara AI Camera system we found it to be a very simplistic, easy installation. The benefits of having the two-way camera enhances our driver/operators driving abilities. This product meets all of our needs and expectations for creating a safer work environment.

We have been using samsara for more than 6 months now, and we love it. Pros : -UI/UX is A1+. there is no way that a user wouldn't know where to find something here , unless they were teleported form the 80s or 90s . Simple intuitive , and straight to the point . And it's also responsive , so it can be used on a smaller screen (phones tablet...) -Reports : There are plenty of report that can be automated , as well as a lot of information about the fleet. -Programmability: They offer a very robust Rest api with robust documentation and tutorials . So when it comes to integration , they are ahead of the curve compared to competition . From webhooks to Auth2 protocols . So much more that I would recommend samsara all day long . CONS: -Workflows setup could be more customizable . -We were told that even without putting a GPS in our trailers , we will be able to have scheduled maintenance notifications as well as locations. Since they will always be attached to the trucks and we should be able to track the mileage etc . It turned out it wasn't the case , and when I found a solution for it by updating the odometer through the Api , they blocked it and said that the odometer can only be updated if the trailers have GPSs installed in them . This was frustrating because I had to figure out another way to track the mileage based on the vehicles movement, and the trailers utilization report is not available on samsara's portal . (This could have been different if the possibility of updating the odometer through the Api wasn't blocked ). And this is the reason why I only gave 4 starts .

Amazing staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. Support dept. seems to be understaffed, they always get back to you anyways.

I really like this system. It's doing everything I need it to do and more. I only have 1 complaint and it's reading on several of our vans and trucks that our battery level is below 12 volts for more than a minute. I don't know if this is a glich or not , but we haven't seen any problems with batteries yet.
