Samsarais as easy and simple to use as anything can be made to, but has a ton of problems. My biggest and most aggravating problem with it is it kicking into drive while sitting still I'm dealing with that very issue right now. It has caused me to be in violation, miss my pickup for next load, and screw my day completely up. My company can't fix it ans has no answer for me. So if you have no choice but to use samsara due to your company choosing them then beware. Always keep an eye on it if not you will get screwed and as a driver you know how important our time is and last thing any of us need is another headache. So keep aspirin close, an eye on this piece of crap and good luck with it. You will need it

Ordered samsara years ago. Salesperson never explained that they charge you every year for 3 years according to supposed contract. Upon first sales pitch we paid the amount due for equipment and i guess first year of service. Unfortunately due to circumstances with everything going on the past couple years we never used equipment. A year after initial purchase there was another substantial charge(thousands of dollars). I called immediately after charge and told samsara I never even used equipment and salesperson didn't explain the multi year contract. Samsara does not care that yiu pay for a service never used.(scam) I accepted the charges though and expressed my concerns about being charged for a service never even used. And now this year another crazy charge(thousands). Still never used service. I recommend making sure you are actually told what samsara offers. They will charge you even if you never used service. It's really not a good business practice

The worst costumer service, I got many violations because of their technical issues and when I'm asking for any reasons why the violations occurred they don't give me any answers and the violations are still on my record. The most recent one happened over a month ago and anytime km calling for an update about it they still say that's under investigation and no exact answer can't get from them. The personal from costumer support is so rude they are yelling on me and keep telling the same thing that they don't now nothing and have no access to the cases and no connections with engineering team. I told them that I want to cancel my contract with them and the answer form a guy Daniel from costumer service was: "please do that". They have absolutely no care for their costumers and don't take any responsibilities for their faults. Don't recommend anyone to work with them. The worst company!!

Our account has been suspended for at least a month. I've logged at least 10 calls since the problem arose yet still the problems persists despite all the invoices on our account being settled. The customer services team are always polite and friendly when speaking with them on the phone; However whenever a call is escalated to the collections or billing teams no one ever gets back to us to resolve the underlying issue. Consequently we've had no access to our service for over a month and we feel extremely vulnerable not knowing where any of our vehicles are. Outstandingly bad service.

Absolutely horrific customer service and more bugs than any other company we've had. Not a single call to them resulted in a resolution they always blame the company or the driver. We made the mistake of canceling our internet and using the wifi samsara offers. If you have no signal it won't update and then the second u get signal it updates boom now you have violations that can't be fixed because the system showed the driver the wrong information. Goes from off duty to on duty or drive for no reason. I had an employee that left the company had been gone over a month n magically he went on duty for 2 weeks because I didn't think to monitor someone deactivated but according to customer service that was impossible sent it to tier 2 n of course got the email telling us to do the same troubleshooting as the tier 1 person. Trailer tracks don't work at all it'll show it in a completely different state than its actually in because they don't get signal and go dead. They will not call you they only send scripted emails until you just give up and accept the fact if you get audited you'll have a fine. They refuse to tell me when our contract is up or the penalty for cancelation it's beyond a joke highly recommend going elsewhere.

Do not recommend this company whatsoever! Completely disrespected by the Samsara hiring team in London! Interview process started in mid November 2021 and ended mid March 2022 for a relatively junior level position. Moreover, I was kept in the dark throughout the process - there was absolutely no transparency from the beginning to the end. I don't think even companies with a "bad reputation" in hiring would treat candidates as poorly as I have been treated. Shocked, horrified and now I feel like I have dodged a bullet. If they treat candidates like this, I wonder how bad the company culture is actually like once hired.

Ok. The problem I have with this software is it doesn't verify what action you are performing. I think alot of error would be avoided if it asked you even after you started driving, etc if that's what you're actually doing and give you the option to change what you're doing if not. I went on PC and made a stop for food and forgot to put it on PC again to get to the truck stop. It messed my 34 up and now I have to do another 34 in order to get my hours back. One adjustment and I would have been ok. You should do better Samsara. Driver's can't make money because you failed to make a consession for human mistakes. Disappointed and fuming mad.

Absolutely the WORST customer service in the freight Industries. No logic or common sense. I was OFF DUTY, but the ELD put me On Duty after about 2 hours and totally messed up my reset. I was stationary the whole time, the truck did not move one inch. Calling Customer service was a waste of my time. All they are trained to say is: As per mandate, we can't change anything. They do not understand the difference between correcting a mistake and manipulating a log. We should have stayed with Keep Trucking
