I understand the no return policy, I truly do. But if someone buys a piece of furniture and it ends up barely not fitting inside their only car WHILE STILL AT THE STORE, (and they don't live nearby) THAT should be an exception. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not ever shop there again.

I would put it a negative 1 at this point, volunteer missed my son's plate and continued to scrape it off the counter and put it on his plate! That is nasty and not to mention she was rude! And as for the food, you maybe serving the poor and homeless people but they deserve to have food that is actually good and not pitty portions like a salad that is mostly cabbage and carrots with no lettuce! Get new volunteers who actually care and respect people! In my eyes yall should be closed even the thrift store because they are rude too! Get your act together!

My husband and I waited all day for the Salvos to collect two recliner couches and two recliner chairs. They were all in perfect condition. When they arrived, the men seemed as if being there was a complete inconvenience and were rather prickly. They said they wouldn't take one of the couches because it had a small stain. (It was in perfect condition). They wouldn't take the other couch either until my husband split it in two. So they could take it out easily. When taking the sofa out, my husband offered to help, only to be snapped at and told no... He was only trying to help. When taking out the second chair, they damaged our newly renovated and plastered wall. When we told them, they blamed us, saying that we should have taken the couches and chairs outside. (The office did not tell us to do so, and before their arrival, I had to complete a questionnaire about access to the property.) So I think that was an excuse; they also made us feel that the damage they caused and my reaction were over the top. Our house is currently going through renovations, and so any damage is annoying, to say the least. They must have 'spat the dummy' at us for bringing the damage to their attention as they vacated the property, left the last chair outside, and drove away. To be treated this way when all you're trying to do is donate to a worthy charity is surprising and disappointing. I will not be donating to Salvos again. Lift your game, and don't treat people who are trying to help and donate so rudely.

I was trying to donate a desk that is worth a few hundred dollars. I received a call from 0287757966 and the lady was so rude. I will never donate to the Salavation Army again and I can see why their reviews are so bad. I don’t even want to give them 1 star. I will donate elsewhere in the future.

Offered no help when asked. I was in the hospital and reached out to 5 church members and no one called me back. I was referred to Committee! How cold can you get!

I scheduled a Salvation Army donation pickup for a couch in very good condition. My husband waited around to hand it over, but the two staff refused it on the spot, wrongly claiming it was stained. The couch had been cleaned the night before and was ready. This was a waste of time, and frankly, disrespectful. Families could have used this item. The way this was handled makes me question donating to them again. I am starting to think the guys didn’t want to bother as it was a big 5 seaters and maybe too much work for them to carry. It’s such a shame as it was such in a perfect condition. I really don’t get it at all! How they can be so picky when there is so many families in need

Last night i had a pickup full of stuff to donate. Started to do so when this arrogant man with a squeeky voice pull up to us and told us that the cops were on the way not to dump anything? Excuse me? So i jumped into my truck went up the street to redracks where they unloaded it for me plus gave me coupons. I will never donate to the salvation army again.
