I've visited this place before so I knew I would be a return customer, except it would have to be an online order due to me being in Norfolk VA. I don't know where to start with all the greatness. This is the cutest little shop!!!!! As soon as you step in a smile instantly comes to. If you appreciate teas and spices THIS IS YOUR place!! Chotika and Samantha are AMAZING!!!!!!! Walking in they knew it was our first time due to the HUGE smiles and child like bouncing from excitement. These ladies have the best personalities ever!!! Their knowledge of all the teas and spices was definitely appreciated. You can smell and sample everything! They had the best recommendations for pairing what vinegar with what meat or even an ice cream. Fun fact, they get to mix their own blends of teas making happiness in a little cup (which is a name of one of the blends). The vibe is AMAZING!!! Chotika mentioned if we wanted to, we could sit and have could a cup of tea as well. "What?!?!?! Of course we'll have a cup!!" My friend and I sat and had a grand time while sipping tea and talking Chotika's ear off. I had raspberry black tea, and Friend had apricot black tea. We spent a good hour and 20 plus minutes in there, and NOT once did we feel uncomfortable, unwelcomed, or bothersome. Unfortunately, we're only in town for a few more days :-( . BUT they do have a website!! AGAIN this place is amazing. If you're in the area and APPRECIATE (really appricate) teas, spices and vinegars... you HAVE to visit this place. Thank you ladies for your knowledge and great personalities!!!!!

Bourbon barrel balsamic vinegar and rosemary extra virgin olive oil make any salad taste excellent. Both are terrific in so many things, I can't even begin to praise these two items enough. Ordering by mail works out well, but a trip to The Spice & Tea Shoppe is a must when visiting our daughter in Reno.

We shopped at the store on a trip to Reno a few years ago and loved our experience there. Also loved the spices we purchased that day. I recently ordered online to restock some items and their customer service was outstanding. Can’t wait to visit the store again soon!

I have been a excited customer since I found them shortly after they open!! I LOVE my Tea and was looking for someplace to purchase loose leaf. Their first shop was small and parking was difficult but the Parking Fairy always ha a spot for me! I was hooked with the aroma and selection of Teas and Spices!!

High quality teas. Shipping was very fast. I can't wait to order more teas.

The afternoon tea is a favorite. I love using vanilla paste when I bake, looking forward to the Madagascar paste. Haven't tried it yet, but the applewood smoked salt smells wonderful. Order came very quickly, which was particularly nice.

I love the selection of loose leaf teas, and the have been buying my tea from here for three years now. Even now that I am living out of state, I make a point to stop in while I am home for a visit and order online. I love Salty Savory Sweet, cannot recommend them enough!

I discovered the Salty, Savory & Sweet Spice and Tea Shoppe when they first opened in midtown Reno. I was thrilled as the freshness, quality and vast variety of both teas and spices are exceptional. They are knowledgeable, helpful and everything is well packaged to maintain freshness and flavor. Their new location is convenient and beautiful. Truly one of Reno’s best!
