Horrible company. I ordered Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and they sent the wrong Olaplex which I didn’t notice until I opened them. They would not return them. Then when I received the K18 detox shampoo it smelled like a basement. This company is shady!

Horrible odering app
Horrible odering app. I DREAD putting in an order. It’s takes forever and you just pray the site doesn’t have glitches. I’ve had to start all over with orders multiple times because the first order will literally tell me it is out of 90% of what I ordered. Then when I do the order all over again, everything is in stock. So frustrating!!!!!!!
I’ve been working on trying to get an order in all weekend. Still haven’t been successful.
Horrendous!!!!!!!

Request for Resolution Denied Return of…
Request for Resolution Denied Return of Dyson Hair Dryer Dear Salon Centric Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the handling of a recent return attempt. I have been a loyal Salon Centric customer for many years, and during the Christmas season I placed a large online order totaling 969.55 which included two Dyson hair dryers. One of these hair dryers was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She opened it on Christmas Day and tried it once but was not satisfied with it. When I brought the item in perfect condition to the store to return it, I was told it could not be accepted because of a 60 day return policy starting from the original order date, not the date the gift was opened or received, or even the date it was delivered to my door. This interpretation is unreasonable given that the purchase was clearly for the holidays, and it is common sense that Christmas gifts are not opened immediately upon delivery. What made this experience even more upsetting was the treatment I received in the store. I was met with rudeness and complete dismissal, as though my concern was unimportant. This is unacceptable and not reflective of the level of service I have come to expect from Salon Centric. I am requesting the following: That the return of the unused like new Dyson hair dryer be honored immediately. A response acknowledging this complaint and addressing the unacceptable conduct I experienced at the store. Assurance that Salon Centric is committed to fair customer treatment and reasonable accommodation, especially during the holiday season when gifts are purchased well in advance. I want to resolve this matter quickly and professionally, and I am asking Salon Centric to do the right thing. Thank you for your prompt attention. I look forward to your response
This was the response! Thank you so much for reaching out—and for your patience while we reviewed your request. I understand how frustrating it can be when a product or gift doesn’t work out as expected, and I truly appreciate you giving us the opportunity to assist.
To clarify our policy, returns must be completed within 60 days of the purchase date. In this situation, it appears we are outside that timeframe, and I’m genuinely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Since it has been more than 60 days since your purchase date, returns and replacements are handled directly by the brand. They are best equipped to troubleshoot the issue and determine the most appropriate next steps:
Sent link to Dyson which they know damn well will do nothing! read their reviews.

I am a professional hairstylist and…
I am a professional hairstylist and longtime salon customer, and this was one of the most unprofessional retail experiences I’ve ever had.
I attempted to return a blow dryer multiple times over the course of two weeks. I was given conflicting information each visit, sent back and forth repeatedly, and ultimately charged a 20% restocking fee after the store failed to clearly explain or honor their own policies from the beginning.
What made the situation worse was the rude and dismissive behavior from both employees and the manager. The manager struggled to complete a basic transaction and had to call her manager, while speaking to me in a condescending and unprofessional manner. At one point, I was even made to feel unwelcome and pushed out of the store.
Hairstylists spend thousands of dollars supporting salon supply centers. We deserve respect, clarity, and professionalism—not attitude and incompetence. Very disappointing experience.
Location los gatos ca. manager name nasti.

Long time stylist and salon owner…
Long time stylist and salon owner here.Salon Centric is the WORST! They have gotten rid of their salon representatives and expect us to do their job! When I called about not having a rep anymore they just lied to me. Reps are the backbone of this industry! Reps do more than take our order they keep us on top of all the information that we need to know especially those of us that work alone ! Their app is horrible! In the many times I have attempted to use their app I have never once been successful!
I have a huge issue with L’Oreal !! During the pandemic L’Oreal decided to get rid of Logics hair color! I have worked with logics my entire career. I was a colorist for them and a design artist, it was the cornerstone of my business!!! There is no other color line like it and they just make these decisions without any thought at all to who or what they are negatively impacting!! So Color is HORRIBLE! I hate it!!! my Client’s hair looks like crap! It constantly fades to an ugly drab brown or brownish red it will always fade to the underlying pigment ! I don’t want to use any color that has a pre-blended base! These two companies are just another example of corporate greed! They don’t care about anything or anyone except how much money they’re putting in their own pocket!

First I was asked for my drivers…
First I was asked for my drivers license, I have an account and I have shopped there for years. Second, as the woman ringing up my products asked me if I wanted a to purchase a bag for the products. I told her no I didn't. She proceeded to put the things in the bag and I thought she was being nice and providing great customer service. When I hot h9me and checked my receipt, I saw she charged me for the bag. Since when is it OK to charge a person for something they said they didn't want to buy. If she did for wanting to give me excellent customer service which I thought she did and thanked her. If I had to buy a bag at every store I went to, that would add up to a lot of money. Not only have the prices gone up ridiculously, now we're having to buy bags to carry our stuff home. Get real people! I'm in Arizona and this stuff us what they do in California, keep it there.

I am a professional stylist and I have…
I am a professional stylist and I have NEVER dealt with such a glitchy and malfunctioning and ridiculous app/website. The inventory is not updated, you’re able to add items to your cart that are no longer in stock, upon checking out it glitches constantly sometimes completely emptying your cart, return policies for hot tools are ridiculous (they’ll sell it but you’ll have to go directly to the company who made the product to return but then they won’t take returns from Saloncentric; it’s a racket). I know that I am just ONE stylist and I spend THOUSANDS of dollars with this company a year and they can’t improve their IT for their app or website?! Why can I add items to my cart that aren’t in stock and then have to navigate the glitchy app to then go and remove what was never in stock in the first place and then when I go to place my order it GLITCHES AGAIN and then my ENTIRE CART DISAPPEARS?! I don’t have time for this! It’s incredibly aggravating and I have never encountered such a time wasting app EVER. But of course they practically have a monopoly so why improve it? This app has elevated my blood pressure way too many times and I cannot express enough how annoying this is knowing how much of just my money alone goes to this ramshackle company.

Does Salon Centric get anything right
Does Salon Centric get anything right? With all the years I’ve dealt with them, I’ve had to move on. I’ve spent more hours on the phone with them than I’d like to admit for countless errors on their part. They never have anything in stock and their workers think they’re superior. RIP Salon Centric because I’ve had enough and you’re dead to me.
