Jeff has been awesome as a coach. He gives reliable and tailored running plans each week and is constantly in contact with encouragement and feedback. Despite me having many years of running background and approaching 42 years old, he’s helped me continue to PR in distances ranging from the 5k to the marathon. I couldn’t ask for a better coach!

I have been working with Coach Tara for almost two years now, and she’s being amazing! I have achieved PRs in the 5k, 10k, and half marathon distances since working with her. She customizes the training so that it challenges me while making sure I stay healthy in the process. Coach Tara is thoughtful and motivating, and I have progressed a lot with her training while having fun doing it!

Well, the main thing is that my coach, Makena Morely, is amazing! She has a high level of personal experience as a professional athlete and highly talented. She also has a great quantity of experience with over a decade of competitive running. She is thoughtful, knowledgeable, very easy to talk and work with and has a lot of personal experience with the things I myself am going through as a competitive marathon runner. I could not be more pleased with how she has helped me become a better runner and hopefully reach my goals. I even consider her a friend at this point. The best part about Makena is that I work WITH her on training and training plans. We talk back and forth about how things are going and where how I am reacting to her training advice. I don't have to just follow her coaching, I feel very comfortable giving her detailed feedback about how things are going and I can make minor adjustments if I think a workout is a little too easy, or a little too hard. So I feel empowered to have a lot of input into my training and not just follow a predefined script (I could get that from a book or online training plan). She is also a really nice person and we get along really well, which makes it more like a teammate than a coach. Someone I can bounce ideas off of and benefit from her knowledge and experience. I even share recipes with her and her boyfriend for running gels, energy drinks, hydration plans and food (like an awesome red beans and rice recipe I eat a lot). She is always available by text and I keep her updated on how things are going frequently. The best part of my week is our weekly Zoom Meetings! I often joke that I wish there was a "Platinum" or "Diamond" level of coaching so I could meet with her more frequently, lol. Run Doyen is really great for accessibility of coaching and the weekly zoom meeting scheduling is really great! You make if effortless to work with my coach and I couldn't be happier! Thanks for helping facilitate my connecting and continuing to work with my coach, it's bee really great and we are coming up on our 1 year coaching anniversary in a few days. I hope to continue working with Makena for another 3 years to get me to my ultimate goals of Age Group World Championships by 2028. Thanks again! Justin

A good Coach sets you up for success. Coach Jeff has been absolutely fantastic to work with! He made this Marathon prep both manageable and enjoyable, and I am on track to PR. The sign up process was super easy to navigate.

Wanted human accountability on the other end of my training plan, and RD seemed like a good fit. I'm paying to not have to spend time trying to design a running program for my goal races, so I can use that time to fit in cross training, mobility, and life! Very happy with the programming!

I came into RunDoyen after a period in my life where, after getting injured and quitting on running, covid came and ai decided to get back in shape (as happened to many of us) and I decided to rehab from my injury. After some time and a lot of tears and effort, I found myself wanting to run again, but was very afraid of getting injured again. That’s when I came across RunDoyen. I first was matched with coach Ryan, who was smart and kind enough to take me from walking back into running a Marathon in 3:02:37 on my first real attempt at the distance. After some time, I was rematched with Coach Jacob Phillips, who has truly been the best for me. We have a great rhythm going and I can’t see myself training for marathons without his guidance, there’s always a workout that surprises me and helps me learn new tools to improve my running. I’ve gone from a 3:02 to a 2:40 marathon after 2.5 years of training with Jacob, and looking forward for another breakthrough. This wouldn’t have been possible without Run Doyen nor Coach Jacob. Congrats, RunDoyen really works and I’ve recommended it to many fellow runners.
