IHOA files civil law suit against Private Property Owner!
My private property is FEE ownership. All the utilities servicing a different property are located on my property, without disclosure or agreement. There is dual-meter electric pedestal, located on my property, with two gas meters being located 4 inches behind & the gas meter are at ground level, without clearance. Something damages the dual-meter electric pedestal & the HOA Board, without notice or working with the utility companies, hired a general contractor to chop up the driveway, with live electric wires & gas running, with sledgehammers & circular saws, on a holiday, also cut sprinkler lines & rerouted them, then dumped two feet of concrete on top. No notice of the work or agreement from the property owner was given. The general contractor concreted 3 four-foot metal poles, 2 in the driveway in front of the garage door, making the two-car garage into a one car garage. Then the HOA Board charged the property owner for the work. Is this legal in California? HOA Board has filed a civil law suit against property owner in June, 2025. This is on-going, so the date of experience is on-going from 02/19.2024.
