I like the idea of getting a ball park estimate from the general trade before interfacing with individual contractors But I have not heard from any contractors yet .. I requested 3 bids

The tool that they have that measures your roof using google maps and then giving a price range based on different materials is awesome. It’s useful just to see if you’re being overcharged by a roofer or a roofing company. The ability to see the different materials and the different costs associated with different roof types is very helpful.

Online roofing calculator extremely easy to use. Calculates roof square footage accurately using google earth satellite image. Then gives cost to replace in your area. Good tool for planning replacement.

This was a very easy program to use. They also don't pitch you with sales promotions while you're trying to use it. I appreciated the site's accuracy in helping me plan for a new roof!

This calculator was very easy to use. Basically just plug in your address and it does the rest.

VERY promising system! The calculator was interesting, even though I needed only a repair. The vest thing about the system and its rapid connection for me with a contractor was that it was the ONLY way I was able to get the attention of a contractor during the recent rains and the period of apparent very high demand. NOBODY else responded at all, and your system got me three responses right away. My only critique is that at least one of those two thought they were going to quote a full roof replacement when I very clearly asked only for a repair. The best respondent was David with Spartan Home Services. He was not only fast, but thorough. Unfortunately I had found and scheduled another repair person t to the job for me by the time David was able to schedule me for an estimate.

Gave me a range without having 10 contractors calling to bid on it Easy to use too Thank you

Waste of time. The range of new roof costs from roofingcalculator.com was between $15,000 to $142,000. That is not a calculation. More web horse poop.
