Color expectations
The help was great and nice. It is particularly hard to determine color from a computer screen. The only “flaw” is that a gemstone described as “intense pink” was actually very very pale pink under artificial lights and very pale pink in sunlight. The stone was well cut and symmetrical so I decided to keep it and find other ways to intensify the color by getting ideas from AI.

Thank you for taking the time to share this, and for the kind words about the help you received. You have identified something we take seriously: color is genuinely difficult to represent on a screen, and the way a stone reads under artificial light versus daylight can differ from how it grades under controlled conditions. We should have set that expectation more precisely before the diamond reached you. We are glad the cut and symmetry met your standard, and that you have chosen to keep it. We hope you love the result you arrive at. — John Anderson, Lead Gemologist, RockHer
