They raised over a billion dollars, yet the game still runs like absolute dog crap. The devs have literally no chemistry between one another and honestly they don't understand their own resource budget. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS GAME. YOU WILL BE SCAMMED.

After upgrading from a Taurus to a Hermes, I was charged the upgrade fees three times. For the past 8 days, I’ve been trying to get SC Support to refund me twice, but they’re being stubborn or just acting stupid. They even acknowledge themselves that I was charged three times, but they won’t refund me twice for the fees. This is fraud and a deliberate act on the part of Support—and therefore Star Citizen as well. I can prove beyond a doubt that the fees were charged to me three times. Support is being uncooperative... I’ve now contacted the Consumer Protection Agency—let’s see if they do anything. I advise everyone against Star Citizen; they’ll brazenly scam you if anything goes wrong. Support is completely useless.

Company doesn't communicate, it disrespects it customers. A billion dollars taken from customers and the game is unplayable, they delete any feedback that is negative so beware.

Try Star Citizen. I understand that this game gets a lot of negative feedback, but it is worth a try. Yes it requires some patience, but when this game runs smoothly (which it does more often than not) it is an absolute blast. I have done everything in this game from mining, cargo hauling to PvP and I can confidently say this is the best game and community I have ever been a part of! If you are hesitant about buying, remember that there is a 30 day refund window with no questions asked

Horrible, 40 H of gaming, 20 of waiting (i'm not that intelligent, i played this "thing" for more thAN 400 h BEFORE SAY that's absolute shit), die without reason, ship explode, inventary bugged, mission bugged don't spawn, or if they do u accept then enemy are bugged and cant die, or can't find them, or after finish quest the mission don't progress and u're stucked, fall inside planet, fall inside texutre, fall inside ship and then fall in the planet, die for altitude, ship don't pitch, sometimes don't roll, sometimes u can't drive it, it just go where it want, After quantum u can explode, u can die in ur bed, u can die in menu; infinite loading. u can go thorugh door, u can be stuck in wall or floor, sometimes the desync kill u. This isn't a game, is most horrible torture made for players, something beyond the rage game, is pure cancer, it should be deleted. Do not play this, for ur health, for real, play something else.

2026 First quarter. I have been gaming since the 80s and played games like ELITE from the very beginning. The platform for "Star Citizen" is very poor. Developers have used bad coding practice causing an incredible amount of bloat at it's core design. Streaming platforms generally seem to advertise this product as OK or acceptable. It's still in "Alpha" I expect Developers will keep receiving funds for a long time, a working platform will probably never be complete. Consider saving your money and buying a stable product.

Please try Star Citizen before you believe the negative reviews. It's a game that has been in development for years, and it's still actively in developed. The new technologies incorporated into Squadron 42/Star Citizen are what have caused the long development times. The team at CIG is still working daily to create a game that will set a new standard for all game developers. Star Citizen is an experience, not just a game, and you'll understand when you try it.
