R&l carrier pulling a double simply had to cut me off to gain that 3 ft of space.

I ordered flooring through R+L Carriers (Norristown), and the entire experience was a shambling disaster from the first text to the moment they hung up on me. Monday I got a text confirming delivery for 7/29 between 10am–2pm. The morning of, the website still showed "order placed" — no update at all — so I called at 8:12am, only to be told the shipment hadn't even arrived yet and delivery would actually be the next day. Great start. Then at 10:34am, out of nowhere, I got an email saying the floors were out for delivery. So which is it? I called to confirm and was told 10am–12pm. Noon came and went. Nothing. I gave them until 2pm — the original window — still nothing. When I called again, now I'm told the driver has "other stops" and would have to loop back, magically pushing my delivery to "before 5pm." A third window, and every one of them a lie. Here's where it gets genuinely absurd. Since the flooring apparently hadn't even been loaded onto a truck, I asked if they could just deliver the next day instead of dragging me along all day. The rep told me no — because "the shipper won't pay for redelivery." Redelivery? Nothing had been delivered in the first place. When I pointed out that this made zero sense, she had no answer, because there isn't one. Then it turned openly hostile. When I mentioned I'd been sitting here four hours based on what their own people told me, she yelled at me that none of it counted because I "hadn't spoken to dispatch." I said whoever I spoke with clearly had some basis for confirming my delivery was out and handing me time windows — and she snapped back, "you didn't speak to dispatch because I'm dispatch." So either the people feeding me delivery times all day were unreliable, or she was dispatch the whole time and simply preferred arguing to doing her job. Either way, that's on R+L. She also cheerfully informed me they require no signature and will dump flooring in the driveway whether or not anyone's home — no protection from weather, theft, or damage. When I asked what happens if it shows up damaged, she barked, "I'm not going to damage your items, I'm done, have a good day ma'am," and hung up on me. And here's the part that actually cost me real money: I had a contractor on standby all day to move the flooring inside the moment it arrived. Because R+L jerked me around window after window and never showed, I had to keep him waiting for hours and ultimately send him home empty-handed — and I still had to pay him for the day. That's $500 out of my pocket, gone, entirely because R+L couldn't hit a single one of the three windows they invented. I will be billing R+L Carriers for that $500, and I expect them to pay it. Let me be clear about what R+L actually delivered: three contradictory delivery windows, a fake excuse about redelivery fees, a dispatcher who yelled at a paying customer and hung up on her, a policy of leaving expensive materials unattended in a driveway with zero accountability, and a $500 hole in my wallet for a contractor who had nothing to do because they never showed. The only thing they managed on time was the attitude. Constantly shifting timelines, nonsense excuses, and a rep with open contempt for the customer. If you have any choice of carrier, choose literally anyone else. Avoid R+L Carriers.

We ordered a marine Fridge on 2 business day shipping and here it is 6 days later and maybe we will get it today!! Meanwhile we are at a Marina waiting and can’t leave. Talking to someone who cares is not an option. They said they lost it and was not concerned to get it on the next truck to us. Maybe it will come today not getting my hopes up.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I hve been scheduled twice by R&L to receive my shipment and blown off both times. They not only let me sit here all day twice, they never even contacted me. I hd to call them. The first time it”didn’t make it onto the truck.” The second time they “ couldn’t find it. Today is the third day I am waiting and we are 2/3 through the day with no shipment, no call, no nothing. If you have any choice hire someone else - anyone else. I don’t know how they stay in business.

For some chaotic reason Musician'sfriend chose to send my order via R&L. BIG MISTAKE. 1st time I have heard of them, let alone experienced their unprofessional, ridiculous service. So, R&L sub contracted out my delivery. My order sat stagnant in Paducah KY for 18 days. Every time I called R&L they would reach out to submit contractor and ensure me my shipment would arrive the following day. THERE WAS NO ACCOUNTABILITY on their part what so ever! DO NOT RECOMMEND

oh boy... they came recommended over other popular carriers like XPO and roadrunner... and my goodness, RL make those lower budget carriers look like rock stars. 5 day eta from Los Angeles, CA to Wilmington, Ohio. We booked it. Arrives in Amarillo, TX on day 5 on a Wednesday, that's HALFWAY to its destination. Tracking showed no movement; I called in on Thursday. Got mixed answers from their support team. "oh it already left" and "it'll be out tonight". Friday, no update to tracking "it hasn't left according to tracking" We told them dispatch said it would... "uh we're not sure". We called into Wilmington OH dispatch and they said it "should be on the way, but can't be for certain". dispatch says, it'll hit another terminal first and get scanned in, never does. Another dispatch says it'll arrive on saturday to OH and be scanned in, never does. We needed this pallet delivered on Wednesday (day 5), now we're hoping it will arrive Monday (Day 10). Support says it should arrive Monday in Wilmington, OH, and we'll get it out the door to its final destination same day! Call in on Monday 10 AM EST, tracking shows no scan in yet.... (you'd think they'd unload a truck first thing in the morning if it's been docked since saturday...). Finally shows it's scanned in 30 or so minutes later. Great, it should be out the door! RL - "oh we couldn't find a truck, so this will go out Tuesday." Can you please get this delivered by Tuesday, 10AM EST to its final destination? It's already late and it's urgent. Dispatch says, "Yes, we've marked it red hot." Arrives at 2:45 PM... wow. Receiving warehouse, you're missing 1 out of 5 pallets. Stress. Called into their tracing team to locate the missing pallet. "It's not in Ohio", we'll keep tracing it back. Can't find it in TX, can't find it in CA. 30 hours later, jk it's been in Ohio the entire time. Do you know how incompetent the warehouse team at RL has to be to unload 5 pallets and then misplace 1 of them, all within a day, when it should stay in its outgoing staging area and to go back out the door? The irresponsibility and incompetence this company has shown in managing 5 simple pallets is outrageous. We do not recommend them at all. Customer support has no accurate information, as they don't scan the cargo in or out. This is an absolute nightmare scenario for anyone trying to ship out pallets. Stay far away.

I’ve been waiting since June 4th for a delivery. Order placed with Amazon and delivery day originally was planned for June 4 to June 5. Those days passed with no notification from a carrier. On June 10, I received a notification that I was scheduled for a delivery for the next day. Nothing arrived. I have called multiple times and each time was basically lied ti. A couple of the dispatchers have been honest but customer service on Monday, June 15 promised me a delivery for June 16. It did not arrive. I have called and talked to a dispatcher and he said that my item is not even unboxed off of one of their freight trucks. I talked to customer service today and they were going to call me back this afternoon and lo and behold. I never got a call. This is beyond frustrating. If I don’t get any satisfaction tomorrow, I will cancel my order with Amazon and pursue this through another company that hopefully does not use R and L carriers. Most of the people I have talked to have been OK and not rude, but that doesn’t get very far when you are waiting for a delivery that never shows. I have been told that they are overwhelmed with so many orders, but that’s just an excuse.
