They do not stand behind their products and do not care about their customer. Really bad business practice. The person who replied to me in their customer service dept shame on you.

Customer damaged product by their own means and expected us to replace it. Unfortunately we do replace products that are damaged intentionally by customers.

Horrible customer service and completely dishonest company. I have never experienced anything this frustrating. I called 128 times throughout the day, and every single call went straight to voicemail. Not once did I get a response. Their customer service is essentially nonexistent. I placed an order on Monday, but by Friday, it still hadn’t shipped. Since the delay was unacceptable, I attempted to cancel the order. I sent emails and repeatedly tried calling, but they ignored all my attempts to reach them. Instead of responding, they suddenly created a shipping label and lied, claiming the item had been shipped when it clearly had not. This company has zero accountability, no communication, and no regard for customers. They intentionally avoid contact and mislead buyers. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company entirely. I would give zero stars if I could.

On 8/19/2023, I ordered a kayak from RidgeAndRiver.com. The website indicated it was in stock, and I paid for “LTL kayak shipping.” So, it appeared R&R had the kayak and would freight ship it to me. Three days later, having received no update, I emailed requesting the order status. I received a reply including this statement: “I will check and see what the timeline is looking like for a pickup to ship your kayak.” I heard nothing. I reached out via their social media channels, was told I’d get an update, but received nothing. Their website order tracker consistently said, "your delivery status is unavailable." On 8/31 I requested they cancel the order and issue a refund. That email got a response, including this statement: “We were trying to figure out how to drop ship from the supplier to you.” So, apparently they did not have the item, or they never intended to ship directly to me. Either way, they deceived me. Had they communicated proactively and made me feel confident the order would be fulfilled, I might have gone along with it. While I did receive a full refund, I wasted a lot of time and energy only to end up where I started.
