The ease of scanning and shipping make this a no brainer.
It's easy to add by scanning and see the potential profit by sending items in. However, with having to split boxes depending on whether text books or now, it would be helpful to have a way to mark books that go to your textbook processor, process that box and then move to the next box. I had to remove all the non text books from the list and when complete I had to rescan.
I also included a box content list from the export of the list.

Shipping options are lacking
Would really like a clear option to use my own shipping method. Besides that we’ll see how it goes after it is sent.

I think everything is great
I think everything is great. Shipping fees still feel a bit expensive.

Simple, but Can't Manage Stranded Inventory (as they say they could)
RestrictedInventory.com is a very simple alternative to selling your restricted inventory on Amazon and making any sort of profit or money, and I am absolutely grateful to be able to use this option to sell inventory I cannot sell myself on Amazon.
I only had a problem when they said they could manage all of my stranded inventory for free, and then they couldn't after allowing them access because the Amazon settings required for them to do that could not be saved, and always gave me a confusing error message reading, "I was not allowed to access this page!," whenever I tried to save those settings various times.
Don't go through the trouble of trying to let them manage when Amazon won't let you, manage your stranded inventory yourself and simply have it shipped to them, they will manage your inventory from there and pay you a profit if it is still in good shape when it arrives and it sells within 180 days.

I want to like these guys ... And, I think I do
I want to like these guys, I really do. But the website is so basic it seems like a 10th grade computer programming assignment. I could live with that, but the fact that I have only sent them 4 books so far, and they have lost 2 of them is unacceptable. (***update, they may have only lost 1, but only time will tell and i will update this once i see the missing book no.2 appear in my inventory) Not to mention, that the 2 that they lost were the expensive two out of the four. They are new and hopefully with time, they will get better. For their sake, and for ours. **** I will add that they are very good with replying when you email them, so that in itself is worth noting, and has raised my review from 2 stars to 3 stars. If this other missing book in question isn't really lost, then I will edit again and adjust stars accordingly.
-- edit 01july2022 ... it would seem that one of the 2 missing wasn't missing and it did finally materialize
and even sell ... and, although, the website looks pretty much the same, it does seem more stable and, to me, that shows that they are definitely putting effort into the project ...

First Time Restricted Inventory User's Thoughts and Opinions
There was a lot of available e-Mail help when I initially was setting up the process. I wasn't really clear on the fact that I would have to pay to ship the items up front. This averaged out to about 50 cents per pound. I chose FEDEX for shipping and added an insurance coverage cost also. This is still way less expensive than if I were to buy FEDEX with insurance for this amount of weighted product regularly. I couldn't figure out where to put the coupon code in for the first shipment 20% discount. I also should have adjusted one of my shipped DVDs from the default used setting to New as this particular set was brand new still factory sealed. Most of these issues I will attribute to my unfamiliarity with the process. Please note there was an option to contact them for less expensive USPS shipping. I personally would not recommend taking this option. I am assuming by USPS shipping that they mean media mail. Media Mail always slows down right before Christmas. I have one item that I mailed by Media Mail at the end of September and now over 2 weeks later it has still not been received. The slowdown has started early this year. My Postal Clerk has told me that it has been slow for a while even before my September mail-out so I am assuming that it will only get worse. I think it is better to pay a little more and know that it will get there in a timely manner as opposed to 6 weeks or longer which is the time frame I worked with last year on delivery with Media Mail.

It seems to be a bit before things get…
It seems to be a bit before things get listed. Would like to know how much books are listed for.
