For the love of all things holy they would not stop bombarding me with requests to review their site. What in the actual heck? JUST STOP. If I haven't been clear, STOP. S.T.O.P. Cease and desist. Halt. Do not proceed. Do not pass GO. You shall not pass. END.

Scam!! They have no restaurants! I mistakenly bought a Groupon which included restaurants.com deals. What a mistake. Customer Service had no intention of helping me. I am very angry about how I was treated and hope no one else falls for that scam.

This used to be a great company but now there are so few offerings that are even worth going to that I have a bunch of coupons I cannot use. The bulk of the offerings now in Boston are for pizza, Indian or sandwich spots. There are only a few fine dining options, This is just not worth the money anymore. It used to be a great option for trying new restaurants but now it is mainly fast food . pizza and take out places.

Restaurant.com has no one to vet and authenticate whether or not the restaurants they list are still honoring their promotions. For example, in 29 Palms, California, Alamilla's Taco Shop #1 has been out of business for over two years. In Palm Springs, California, El Jr. Tacos refuses to honor. What is wrong with this company? They have no accountability, even after I personally have written no less than 20 times to remove restaurants that are either out of business or refuse to honor their contracts. That is why I use Hilton Honors Dining as my first choice for reward points

Hi Annegret, It sounds like you had a negative experience at a restaurant that isn't part of our program. In fact we do not operate at all outside of the United States. We encourage you to leave a review on that business's page. Thanks!

Tried to use the Phoenxville Cafe certificate today. I purchased in September 2025. They said they dropped out of program 6 months ago. They are still listed.

Hi Donna, We’re sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. All restaurants on our site have formally agreed to participate, but sometimes a restaurant discontinues its offer without notifying us right away. Our restaurant partner team has been notified and will be contacting Phoenixville Café to update their listing if needed. The good news is that your unused deals never expire and can always be exchanged for another restaurant right in your account at restaurant.com. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and helping us keep our listings up to date.

Restaurant that said they called the number on the certificate but no one answered so they could not honor it. 9/30/25 More details: I provided the certificate to my server before ordering. She said she would call the number but had issues before. She went out back and returned and said she could not get through to the number on the certificate so she could not honor it. I still dined at the restaurant because it was only $10 off so no big deal.

I bought a restaurant.com certificate for a particular restaurant and they said they wouldn’t take it. They wanted me to change to a different restaurant they offer. How do I know if that would work. They won’t give me a credit on my charge card either.

Hi Caroline - Not to worry! Your points are safe because our dining deals never expire and unused deals can be exchanged for new ones at any time, for any reason - and you can do it all in your account - no need to call customer service. We hope knowing this changes your mind - here's wishing you many more exciting dining experiences!
