They sell you discounts to third rate restaurants.
They sell you discounts that are worth around 20-30% off the regularly priced items. The list of restaurants are mostly in the worst parts of town and your choices are typically Chinese, Mexican and Soul food. The travel deals are a joke and the discounts can usually be had without Restaurant.com. I would be glad to accept a refund of half of my credit balance but they don’t do refunds.

Restaurant.com is a scam
Restaurant.com is a scam. We tried to use a certificate at Queen Pizza but it wouldn't work--claimed it was invalid. The restaurant was kind enough to honor it anyway. I also purchased certificates to another restaurant and before we were able to use them, I received an email from Restaurant.com stating the restaurant was no longer participating. They gave me very lengthy instructions on how to easily exchange my certificates. Which didn't work. I tried several times to contact them and each time, they just re sent their original lengthy email. I've given up. I'll never use Restaurant.com again.

Never Again, jukeboxdiner.com
Placed order online for delivery took over an hour to be delivered, two meals with tip cost me $40. I ordered the two hot dogs (hadn't had a foot long hot dog with chili and the fixings in so long, made me mouth water) took first bite and it was terrible, fries were soggy, onion rings taste just like they came out of the microwave from a frozen box. The only thing that was good was a strawberry shake, however, no straw so I had to eat it with a spoon. I wish I had read a few reviews before I ordered. $35 of junk in the trash. Never, never again

Don't waste your time or money...
It seemed like such a great deal at first, but then we realized it wasn't. First, I bought one of their deals, and it wasn't until I tried to print out the voucher, that I realized I couldn't get the full amount I spent, but only $5 of it.
Then some friends gave us an "e-gift card" from Restaurant.com, intending that their gift should pay for our whole meal, but it doesn't work that way with Restaurant.com. Out of our friends "gift card", we were only able to get $5 off of a minimum purchase of $10. Then, when we went to the restaurant (which had WONDERFUL food, by the way), they would not accept the Restaurant.com voucher. The manager explained that he had even requested that Restaurant.com remove them from the program, but Restaurant.com refused.
With most restaurants, if you buy a $25 gift card, the full $25 can go to pay the price, taxes, and even gratuity. And if you don't use the full $25, the balance remains on the card to be used at a later date; in other words, there is no minimum purchase. Restaurant.com does NOT work that way! They should not be called "e-gift cards" but rather "COUPONS". In reality, with Restaurant.com you can get a little off of your meal, but you will NOT get the full price of the meal paid.
If coupons are what you're looking for, then use Restaurant.com, though we've found better coupons elsewhere. If you want to give a real "gift card," then avoid Restaurant.com.
