When it is possible to use the certificates it works great, unfortunately there are hardly any restaurants near me in which to use them. We use it for the same restaurant each time.

Unfortunately Facebook has included restaurant listing on the site that cannot be accessed for discount certificates. I sincerely hope that Rest. will return to listing for which certificates can be obtained for ALL restaurants listed,

Hi Paul, Thanks for your feedback. We don’t post restaurant deals on Facebook—our offers are listed only in our directory at Restaurant.com. For the most up-to-date participating locations, we recommend browsing our site and using the “Show Deals Only” filter. This ensures you’re viewing only restaurants currently offering deals. We appreciate your input as we work to keep browsing for new deals and redemption as clear as possible.

We have been using restaurant.com for many years. In recent years, there have been fewer and fewer restaurants that nearby that I have been interested in using. We still have one faithful restaurant in Aurora that we frequent using a restaurant.com coupon. We would love it if this new ownership group would bring in more great restaurants to visit.

Hi Barbara, Thanks so much for your longtime support — we truly appreciate loyal customers like you, and we’re glad to hear you’ve had a great experience with your go-to spot in Aurora! We know that having more local restaurant options makes a big difference, and under new ownership, we’re working hard to grow and refresh our network. Like many in the hospitality space, we were hit hard by the disruptions caused by covid to the restaurant industry, but we’re making steady progress and are excited about the improvements underway. As an added option, you might want to check out our Dining Discount Pass which you can redeem using your points. The pass unlocks savings at over 100,000 national restaurants and establishments. It’s a great way to access even more deals beyond local restaurants. Thanks again for your feedback and for being a loyal customer for so many years!

I had gift certificates from the old app, they disappeared and I found out that now I have points but not able to redeem for $5 so if I exchange my point I lose $ because I exchange 2500 points for only $20, where’s the $5 option?
Response from Restaurant.comJun 21, 2025
Hi Victor— thanks for your feedback. We requested more information from you through Trustpilot so we can look into your account and help resolve this but didn't hear back from you. Just to clarify: your points never expire, and 2,500 points equals a $25 Restaurant.com certificate. You can redeem your points for any available dining deal listed on our site — there's no forced downgrade in value, and no requirement to redeem for $20 instead of $25. We’d love the chance to help you directly. Thanks again - we look forward to hearing from you.

I have used Restaurant.com for years and had many good experiences at home and when traveling. However, I find it less and less useful. There are very few if any restaurants in Delaware and certainly in the middle and southern Delaware areas. I have also run into situations where the restaurants have said they no longer accept the certificates. The Middletown and Smyrna areas of Delaware have grown tremendously in the last 10-15 years and continue to grow rapidly, yet still few if any new opportunities on Restaurant.com. When it works it is great. I just wish there were more options in the Middletown, Smyrna and Dover areas. I most frequently am looking for casual places like pizza, cheesesteaks, burgers and ice cream places.

Hi T D, Thanks so much for being a longtime supporter — we really appreciate you sharing both the positive experiences and the areas where we can do better. You're absolutely right that Middletown, Smyrna, and Dover have seen tremendous growth, and we've shared your feedback with our restaurant team to help guide future outreach. While we’re actively working to expand our network, the aftermath of COVID continues to impact restaurant participation — especially in smaller markets. In the meantime, you might want to check out our Dining Discount Pass option, which gives you access to thousands of national offers, including casual spots like pizza, burgers, and ice cream. It can be a great short-term way to keep enjoying savings while we work to bring more local restaurants on board. You can learn more at: https://restaurant.com/dining-discount-pass Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us!

When I have $25 and $50 rewards I have a big problem. I can only access the $25 reward. When they are used up I can then access the $50 reward. Not very user friendly.

Hi Cheryl, Thanks so much for reaching out to us — we're really glad we were able to get your issue resolved outside of Trustpilot. Just to clarify for others who may read this: you can redeem your points for any certificate value at any time. There are no restrictions on the order or amount — whether it’s $25, $50, or $100, it’s entirely up to you. If you're seeing something different, feel free to reach out and we’ll take a closer look. Thanks again for sharing your feedback and helping us make the experience better for everyone.
