I have hosted indie podcasts since 2014 where I do everything. I edit the folks I interview, most of whom have never been on a podcast. It is very important to me to have the best interview quality, since I respect the people I interview and want to make sound their best. As a result, I have to deal with a lot of vocal ticks (hummus and ahhs) and sometimes long pauses. Sometimes in a 45 minute interview I can spend 2-3 hours just on simple editing. Well, Resound has drastically reduced that repetitive effort and allows me to publish quicker and move on to the thing I love: interviewing! I originally found Resound several months ago and did not like it. It took quite a while to produce an output and the algorithm missed and/or cut the tracks a little too much or too little. Recently the updates have increased the effectiveness of the editing tremendously. I know there will be more features in the future that will make it even better. Finally, I had the opportunity to meet the CEO and lead developer and they are super people and followed up right away when I had questions. If you are like me, dump the repetitive editing and get on board with Resound!

Hi Jacob, I have a heavily academic oriented podcast (Nèg Mawon podcast) that is in the top ten percent most shared in the world for 2022, according to Spotify. I love Resound! I’ve saved a lot of hours from manually removing all the Aahs and umms during post-production editing. I used to spend over 4hrs or more removing verbal fillers from 1 episode. Now, thanks to Resounds, it ranked me about 30 minutes max for a hour length episode. And that’s because I choose to manually go through all the fillers Resound identified automatically. If I decided to just click delete from Resound’s identified fillers, it would take me 15 seconds! The UI/UX is near Apple design level in terms of simplicity. I didn’t need to read any of your documentations to get started. The interface just makes sense—clean yet powerful. The founder said that Resound is not going to be one of those all in one solutions. I appreciate that. Staying focused on your core competencies is a smart move. Define worth getting!

Super simple interface and quick/easy to use. Looking forward to when we can add in additional words to remove. But generally love this software and it functions so efficiently and leaves the audio sounding super smooth and natural.

I've been doing a regular podcast for two years. In the last few months, I've started to feel like post-production is a lot of work, so I've started to scrap it. When I discovered the Resound app, I was overjoyed. Anyone who edits audio knows all too well how challenging it is to find all the eh's, munchies, etc. Plus the quality of the spoken word editing is great - clear voice. I really like the ability to create projects and combined editing of individual voices. I want to say that with the first audio I saved min 2/3 of editing time.

As a beta user, I've seen so many improvements to Resound over the last year and the team is so helpful and responsive. The product itself is simple and does exactly what you need it to do. It saves you time and the finished result is high quality. I've had great feedback from my community on the quality of their podcasts and my podcast after using Resound. One simple change was using Resound and I'm grateful that this product exists.

Resound has saved me hours of editing work. Thanks to the improved version of Resound, updated with new features a 1,5 hour podcast was edited in half an hour, with over 300 suggested edits. The AI algoritm and user interface keep getting better. Keep up the great work!
