Resort Closings was able to close out one of my timeshares at a minimum cost of $500. The timeshare was willing to take back the unit. They were not successful for a timeshare at another resort. The resort refused to take the unit back. Resort Closings referred me to a lawyer who wanted ~9K with no guarantees. I decided not to.

I have been trying to get rid of my timeshare for several years through real estate companies saying they specialized in timeshare sales. $2500 later, no sale even though statements were made as to successes the companies have had of being the best in the business and testimonials all day. The fact is there are thousands of people like me trying to get out of timeshares that they no longer use or want. The maintenance expenses have made timeshares so expensive that you can use other alternatives to find vacation opportunities. Resort Closings transferred my timeshare quickly and cost effectively and I know longer have the timeshare expenses and hassles to deal with.
