It was quite easy to navigate from learning about the startup to investing in it. Again, it was quite easy to sign up and invest in the startup I was interested in.

I believe Republic's platform (compared to others) in the crowdfunding space is probably the best. I only gave it 4 stars for the fact that many of the campaigns are food, clothing, or beverage related. Would be nice to see other options (deep tech, climate, supply chain, etc.).

They respond well to issues regarding investments and errors in ID verification. However, the issues in the first place make it a 4-star for me, albeit that the issues aren’t lasting.

Many of us are early investors, excited about entrepreneurs with new ideas, but mostly ignorant of the rules and regulations for early stage investors. A clearly written "Welcome to Early Stage Investing Manual for Dummies" would prepare us to learn the financial processes demanded, the legal issues involved, how seed funding begins and expands, and what to expect as time leads us to a cap as the game begins. It would educate those of us who may be newbies as well as encouraging more new investors to jump in. The technology of your system seems excellent and navigating the website is intuitive. It was easy to find what I was looking for and the investment process was quick and easy.

I really like the company! My only concern is that often investments aren't as quick to confirm as I expect, and then I am uncertain about their completion.

On the whole Republic is easy to use, looks nice, and does what it says it will do - definitely recommend! Have invested numerous times across a variety of industries and offerings. The one downside I’ve experienced is that the site runs slowly when there’s a popular investment (usually right after a newsletter recommends an offering), which often requires multiple refreshes at the various stages of completing the investment before it’s final. Not a huge deal, but can be annoying - plus, in theory, the issue could prevent interested investors from getting a placement if the offering filled while they were waiting (or if they walk away to try again later).
