Well, Eddie answered my e-mail inquiry - called me and walked me through everything - he was so incredibly helpful and a wonderful representation of what customer service should be. The Glasses were shipped to me quickly and they are gorgeous. I would normally be a little uncomfortable with buying something like this on-line, but I had seen a recommendation on-line in my search and took a chance. I was definitely rewarded.

RLE does a great job. I've sent them two different pairs of frames, one of which was a vintage pair from a thrift store, and they've created lenses that fit and function perfectly. The quality of the lenses has been exceptional and they've got great customer service.

With persistence and patience with myself , Stephanie, my customer service representative found my frames.One of my four dogs at Christmas ate my current frames.I called my optical company, and they said they would search for these particular frames.DEAD ENDS, with suppliers saying they were discontinued. I decided to search, myself... too many (1,038) websites that had these particular frames,BUT discontinued.My daughter, who is an opthamologist, said she would help me search.After 3+ hours I came across RLE...my daughter,searched only five minutes, came to me, and she tells me she found a website AND it was the same one I was on-TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE,and they had the particular frames. I ordered them.I finally after calling Replcement Lens Express-RLE (couldnt get through via phone) I wrote an e-mail to RLE.Stephanie replied,mentioning that CT had been receiving horrific weather,and it had affected business-I can relate-living In ND,It didnt enter my mind, that this might be the reason. I thought I got scammed again-my Visa bank card was hacked and used at over seven stores after Christmas. Stephanie kapt in touch with me via e-mail, constantly...like I was an important customer. Finally, the frames arrived. My optical company couldnt believe it, and Im sure theyll remember your store name, because I raved about the customer service- Stephanie-and how she me feel at ease because they werent shipped RIGHT AWAY...she is the best!!! If it hadnt been for the severity of the weather my mind wouldnt have been thinking the worst... have been bed-ridden most of the time since November, so my mind thought of a few reasons for the delay. It taught me a lesson-to be more patient, and if it hadnt been for Stephanie with CONSTANT status updates......and that all this is just DETAILS in the major course of our lifetimes.Thank you for EVERYTHING and thank Stephanie for her kind replies and updates.Sincerely, Judy A. Great customer service, fast shipping. I'm would recommend this company every one.

I had a lot of questions and concerns with sending in frames that were over 20 years old (they had sentimental value and were fragile). Stephanie promptly answered all my emails of which there were many, assuaging my concerns and answering my questions. I got back my lenses yesterday, a day late (than estimated) because of the massive snow storm, no big deal, and they were perfect. The glasses and old lenses were packaged well to keep everything safe, the prescription is correct and I am a very happy customer. I will definitely chose RLE again when I need my next pair on lenses. Take it from someone who agonized over the decision for days and emailed a dozen different online companies as well as examining all their reviews, RLE is a good buy. P.S.- They seem to never be available by phone, but if you email you will get a response within a few hours, I did to the more than a dozen I sent. Great buy.

Great customer service.

I took a big risk getting my glasses done over the internet and loved dealing with this company. The person that took care of me, Stephanie had great customer skills. She answered all my questions, took care of the "challenges" of creating a lens without having me in person to measure. They sent me the glasses and they were perfect. Will now order all my glasses from them in the future.

I ordered two pairs of lenses from Replacement Lens Express, one plain with a progressive grind, the other progressive with a faded gradient brown tint. Both pairs came out in excellent shape, the workmanship is superb. I am very happy with my new eyeglasses and can recommend Replacement Lens Express to anyone.
