Replacement Lens ExpressReviews of replacementlensexpress.com

The frames I received are a wire frame. I ordered a solid frame black smoke colored. My email showed me the pictures of the frame they were sending me which was correct. This is for a round lens mine was square it doesn’t even begin to look like what I ordered.

Sent Gray lenses when I clearly ordered Brown.

I can’t use the glasses to read or see distance. They are supposed to be progressive but the prescription is off.

They offer free 3 day shipping after they receive the product from another vendor.

Terrible to deal with. The customer is always wrong. i had to file a dispute to get credit after my return and I paid for the return even though they sent me the wrong item. I think they are a "one man band",

After reading the reviews on the www, they did the same exact thing to me they did to them. I ordered a some frames. Their site said they had 3 different color frames IN STOCK. When I sent off my order, it switched my color to brown matte? After many many attempts by phone and email immediately after the order was sent to correct the color, this is exactly what they wrote me. It was hours later the same exact day (bottom of post). They didn't refund my money. I had to start a complaint with PayPal to get my money back and they refunded me, not them. Do not do business with these people. Learn from me, and the others, so you don't have to find out the hard way yourself!! Subject: Re: Replacement Lens Express: Order #99373 has been processed Hello, The frame is no longer available in any colors. A refund will be requested for you. Thank-you RLE Customer Service Team Member

I had an awful experience with Replacement Lens Express. First, I received the wrong frames back and I was told it was a computer glitch. Fortunately, I did not have to wait long for the correct frames to arrive. They said they had called me to inform me about the problem, but I never received a phone call or voicemail. I recently took my daughter for a follow-up appointment and found out the prescription was incorrect in the lenses. I emailed RLE again and was told they would send a return label for me to send back the lenses and get a full refund. I never received a return label. I quickly filed a dispute with paypal and emailed them again asking for a return label and a full refund. They now claim that they did refund me through paypal, but the dispute still sits open. All emails from them have been short, unprofessional, and confusing. Now I'm having to escalate it with paypal and hope I can get the money back. Not worth the savings for all the hassle.

Sincerely, just avoid them. They are a real business and you MAY get what you want, but there is a really high chance that you won't. They are just messy and untruthful. I'm normally very understanding but I'm at the brink of entering a PayPal dispute and I have never done that since I started using PayPal in 2003, just for reference...
