We used rentX for a recent bachelorette party in California - they booked mirage limousine services and I have never had such a frankly weird and poorly communicated rental experience. I have booked several party buses / limos / etc and never had issues like this with any other company I’ve used. Once we paid our deposit with rentx there was terrible communication with the actual limo service. We booked 2 limos for 2 separate days - after being hounded for the week leading up to the event reporting they had been “trying to contact me” for my final payment (no voice mail or text at all) I was finally able to get in communication with mirage x (several phone numbers that were given to me were out of service) who not only changed the rental type that was originally stated on the booking but said the only way to pay was by giving my cell phone verbally over the phone & then requiring the driver to take a photo with his personal cell phone of my license AND credit card … I told him I wouldn’t be doing that and if that’s what was needed I would book elsewhere. He said he would send me a new link to make the final payment which he never did. The day of the event we spoke again on the phone and he hung up on me and ended up charging the other person in my group who booked the previous shuttle for the total amount. I am unable to find anyway to leave mirage X limos a review online … I am unsure why any reputable company would use them as a rental option & am disappointed that they were even recommended to us…
