Saw two homes on Craigslist and emailed both of them... they both linked me to this website and I knew right away it was a scam. You don’t need to do credit check prior to showing... it makes no sense.

I was so convinced UNTIL... noticed things weren't adding up, asking me to apply at renttoownlistingz. SCAM. I was actually excited until I noticed the person's emails had different details, and all in all it was TOO GOOD to be TRUE. Red flag. I went through the application and stopped at the credit portion. Now I'm nervous about having given them my name full address email and phone number. I'm so discouraged. BE CAREFULLL PEOPLE!!!!

I am a real estate broker and was recently contacted by someone who saw one of my office listings on this site as a rent-to-own. Total scam. Beware, do not send money or give this site any information.

The pictures & descriptions on Craigslist are taken from properties that are for sale, not bona-fide rentals. Anything that starts this sketchy is unlikely to get better as it ages.

First they wanted a credit check and I felt like it was sketchy. After a follow up where I just told them my recent credit check number, they said my 3 scores were approved (I didn't provide three scores...) and to follow the link to the application. They wouldn't provide the rental office when I asked. The grammar changed across emails where the same person wrote with perfect English in the first two emails, then poor English in the third email. The website looked fishy...the fact that listings was spelled with a z instead of s made me think they had to change their name due to suspicious activity so I didn't continue.

My boyfriend unfortunately doesn't have common sense and saw a very sketchy craigslist ad for a rental house, clicked a link they sent him, put his ssn in it, and they sent him a link to this site afterwards. Scared of what is going to happen. BEWARE. DO NOT BE STUPID AND GIVE ANYONE YOUR INFORMATION.

This is a SCAM. The homes they list are not RENT TO OWN. I agree with all negative/scam reviews.

Same story as everyone else on here. Sent an email regarding a home that was to good to be true, get an email back from another person telling me to fill out the their application. Delete, delete, delete.
