I was getting ready to build this exact thing. Bittersweet like a warm toilet seat, my grand idea was not just my own and someone had beaten me to the punch, but it also saved me a ton of work.

RentRedi is property management software built for self-managing landlords and independent real estate investors. It brings rent collection, tenant screening, leasing, maintenance tracking, and accounting into one connected platform, so landlords do not need to juggle multiple tools to run their rental business.Landlords use RentRedi to collect rent online through ACH, debit or credit card, or cash, with autopay, automated late fees, and payouts in as little as 2-3 days. Tenants can also report on-time rent payments to the major credit bureaus. Tenant screening includes credit, criminal, and eviction reports, with optional income verification, so landlords can review applicants with real data before approving a lease.Leasing tools include digital lease signing, secure document storage, and rental listings syndicated to Zillow, Trulia, HotPads, and Realtor.com, so vacancies get filled faster without managing multiple listing sites separately. Maintenance tools let landlords track repair requests from submission through resolution and message tenants directly inside the platform. Built-in accounting covers income and expense tracking, receipt capture, and tax-ready financial reporting, giving landlords clean records at tax time without extra spreadsheets.RentRedi is available as a mobile app for iOS and Android as well as a web platform, so landlords and tenants can manage rentals from anywhere. Every RentRedi plan includes unlimited properties, tenants, and team members, with no per-unit fees, so pricing does not increase as a portfolio grows. Support is available through live chat, phone, and email, along with guided onboarding and product demos.RentRedi is used by landlords managing a single rental property as well as independent investors managing larger portfolios of long-term and short-term rentals, replacing scattered spreadsheets and disconnected apps with one system for rent, tenants, and finances.

Please see my review on May 29, 2023. I am still having the same issue 3 months later. Sent them another chat which they are also making harder to chat with live person. This was their response, "We have an ongoing investigation with deposits not appearing to have incorrect amounts, but I will check an update with the Team if we have an available work around to sort this out." Something as serious as this I would think it wouldn't take this long. They also have a "feature request" which is no longer operational. I put in a request over 6 months ago and absolutely no response, not even an acknowledgement that they received my request

Hi there! Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about this issue. We appreciate your time, insight, and taking the time to leave us this feedback. We are currently investigating the deposit issue and hope to have it resolved as quickly as possible, as we know this is a significant issue with our customers. Additionally, the Feature Request option is working. We receive all our requests and consider them seriously while building our product. Our platform is designed with landlord-requested features, so all your insight and feedback are valuable to us. If you have ideas, please keep submitting them!

I bought the service to use before my rental was ready to go live. I wanted to be acquainted with it first. About a month later, my rental was ready and I listed with RentRedi to post on Realtor.com. It took almost 2 weeks before it went live on Realtor.com. I posted on Zillow for free and got so many responses while still waiting for my listing to post on Realtor.com. They tried to blame it on Realtor.com and said they would get back to me when the bug got fixed. It took me reaching back out to them (they never got back to me) and then suddenly I guess that day (2 weeks later) it was fixed. I asked for a refund because I never used their service and was denied that because I had it a month before I went live. Don't let them rip you off like they did me.
